  1. That isn’t the Panthers is it. Because I know one of the guys at the draftnetwork mentioned he heard around there early in the week that the Panthers really liked Levis.
  2. I’ve followed her awhile a lot longer than 2020 like I said Luttrel who the the head of the riot report and Roaring Riot used to post here like her posting stuff they heard. And it was the same thing. 1 maybe 2 things didn’t come true. Other people who didn’t like what they had to say, jumped all over him. And he quit posting. Verge essentially did the same thing.
  3. It’s the same thing She like Zac Lutrell used to post a lot more around draft time about things they’re hearing. People who didn’t like what they had to say with the info they passed along. And people would lose their poo and would get nasty. I remember when she had Justin Fields QB4 over Wilson and Lance. People thought she was stupid/dumb called her names etc. Fields ended up going to be QB4. And just like Zac. They just quit wasting their time.
  4. She doesn’t post here the same reason Zac Lutrell doesn’t anymore either. Because people who don’t like what they say lose their poo. And it’s a waste of their time posting.
  5. Don’t recall what she said about Willis but she was never “high” on Mac Jones. Just stated what every other reprter stated and what even the Adam Schefters reported later many teams were expecting SF to take Mac Jones until the pick was Submitted. Which was all she said she called the Horn pick the we prior to the draft and the Brown pick and the Burns pick
  6. If these QBs are as good as advertised. It won’t matter. Half the people would do anything to have one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL. To have their “Josh Allen or Joe Burrow” here. I believe these QBs are as good as advertised. We got coaches comparing Players certain Player to Joe Burrow We got national guys like Daniel Jeremiah saying Stroud had one of the best throwing sessions he’s seen at the combine and for the “they get hype every year crowd” Hardly anyone had Willis Top 30 prior to the Pro days. Heck Daniel Jeremiah who is one of the more glued in guys. The only QB he had too 25 was Pickett at 24. He had his first big board come out Last Month. And 4 QBs were in his top 13 overall prospects. I know @Vergewho if you have been around here long enough , know that she’s good stuff and has her connection’s. She has 3 QBs in this class graded higher than she had Fields coming out. There are several other national guys who have echoed this. additonal to add to these guys. pretty cool thing linking the cognitive scores to success in the NFL Purdy had the highest score in that category among the guys in his class and even higher than Trey Lance. Mahomes, Allen, Bree’s, and the top guys also had top scores in this. The QBs in this draft class are among the highest they’ve graded. we need to trade up and get one of these guys. We’ve spent the last 4 years “building the roster” which is about 2 years longer than the avg NFL team before getting a QB. We’ve spent high draft capital and hit on those picks at the biggest foundation pieces in this sport outside the QB. It’s how we dam near won the division with Sam Darnold and PJ Walker at QB. Even after the division got a head start on us until we fired that Moron of a HC. We kicked ourselves for not trading up for a QB the other year from a school that traditionally fails at producing good QBs, a guy who didn’t win a Heisman, nor win a championship. But we kicked ourselves a year later for missing on him despite when the draft was here. No one wanted him. And espy to trade up for him. it’s time to trade up now. If not we could really be setting ourselves up for some pain where you capped your ceiling. Drafting the 20’s. Not good enough to get over the top because a mid to bad QB. And to far back to go get your QB.
  7. Ohio States coaches preferred Haskins over Burrow. I’ll take an NFL coaches and scouts evaluation over theirs.
  8. It’s not Joe Burrow But it’s the guy, a certain someone who played in the league awhile and is now our QB COACH, compared him to Joe Burrow. I’ll take that guys evaluation over some Huddler who probably never watch more than 3 full games in the man’s career
  9. There’s not a dam team in the league that’d say I’ll take 31st rd picks over a Joe Burrow. Especially if they didn’t have a top 10 QB im doing this no questions asked that mock was a dream scenario
  10. We all knew McCown Loved Stroud before he even took the job. All you have to do is watch his video on Him with Josh Norris. Reich also said in his presser last week, he’s started sitting down and talking QBs with McCown.
  11. Only team I really see getting into a bidding war is the Raiders (if they don’t land Rodgers)
  12. Going by the draft value chart The difference between pick 3 and 9 is 850 points Pick 39 for us holds a value of 510 points Pick 61 for us holds a value of 292 points. Both 2nd and our 4th will be 18 more points on the Value scale than the difference of 3 and 9 Just our 2 2nds this year comes close to the difference in value without taking future 1sts
  13. That same fan base hated Burrow and like Haskins. Ill trust the People who covers NFL opinion over some Ohio State fans.
  14. Did the Wentz or Goff trade hurt them though? Rams still made it as far as we did with Cam. And the Eagles won a Super Bowl a few years later
  15. He won a whopping 2 more games than Sam Darnold this season and people aren’t out here saying sign a Jameis Winston or Trubisky in FA instead of trading up for one in the draft
  16. We really using a 5-6 game stretch of Purdy with a near perfect roster as gospel not to trade up for a QB?
  17. But again it really doesn’t work that that. Because that level of QB prospect doesn’t fall outside the top 5
  18. How is it? you saying this isn’t a QB thirsty league. I’d love to see the data to prove otherwise.
  19. My original post was regarding Stroud not Young. And I don’t think we get to 1 for Young. This is about moving up to 3 or 2 (if the bears move with the Texans) If you don’t move to 3 and get one. What’s the plan? Bpa at 9 and roll with Darnold. Then what’s the plan going forward? Because you will be picking 22 range next year as Scott Fitterer said. And if you think the price to move from 9 is a lot. What do you think it’ll be to move from outside the top 20?
  20. It is a big risk. But it’s not like we’re taking one with a empty roster. This is the same roster that was a quarter away from winning the division with Sam Darnold, PJ Walker, and Baker rotating in at QB. With the division getting a couple games head start with Rhule starting g the year as HC. You need a top QB in this sport if your goal is to compete for championships (and I’m not talking Division titles). The only way your getting one of those is licking you and getting a top 2 pick in a good QB class. Or taking a big swing. The days of Aaron Rodger falling to the the bottom of the 1st are gone. It’s too thirsty of a league for QBs.
  21. The reason I ask. While I like Young. I love Stroud as well. and seeing Daniel Jeremiah saying Stroud had one of the best sessions he’s seen at the combine. We’ve also seen our new QB coach on record of comparing Stroud to Burrow. We also heard in press conferences recently where Reich said McCown has sat down and talked QBs with Reich. Now as far as trade We heard the rumors the last 2 years with the Watson saga. That we could offer up to a ridiculous 3 1sts and some defensive starters like Burns, Brown, Chinn. I don’t know what the final offer got to from us. And we’ll never know. But we do know the thing that made Tepper pull out was the $$$ he was wanting. With Stroud, it’s the opposite. That rookie deal is something that adds to the attraction Now knowing that we have a top 5-10 young edge rusher (we can have that argument elsewhere), and I am certain he will be extended. we have a stable big interior DL guy in Brown we have a #1 shut down CB we have a #1 WR we have a good young LT along with a fairly good Young OL with one of the top OL coaches in the NFL. We have a elite staff on paper. With a good track record with QBs. Creating a perfect cacoon for a young QB. So if our staff feels Stroud is a Burrow level QB. How much is Too much picks to trade for him? Now I know the other argument of other holes. But those holes aren’t at big foundation pieces like I listed above. And this is where that Franchise QB on the rookie deal comes in handy. Allowing more flexibility in FA to fill those other filler pieces. So how much is to much?
