Think you got it confused. didn’t mean salary meant cost trade wise to get him. If he told them he only wanted to go to team A. What does that do to the market price to trade for him if there is no competition because he set the teams. Or he can just sit out 1 more year and New Orleans gets nothing

Also keep in mind All of our interviews so far have been via zoom with Nicole not Dave sitting on them. Dave is personally flying to NY to meet with Sean. And we all know what happened the last time Big Tep flew to meet with a candidate. He wouldn’t let Rhule get on a plane to NY to interview

Whew. Listening to WFNZ radio now. Kyle Bailey in the afternoon is close with Roman Harper, they do a side podcast together etc. Harper, former Saints player. Is also close to Payton. In fact one of Payton’s only former players to be invited to his wedding. Bailey and Harper just wrapped up their podcast episode and Kyle taking about it on air now. Harper said there was no way no how Sean Payton and the Panthers would ever happen……..until today. And he think it’s a real possibility with a 4th and 2024 1st gets it done Carolina has began interviewing DCs the last few days. And the only connections to any HC candidates by these guys is Payton

He’s my favorite out of this class. top 3 Addison, Jaxson Smith, Johnston But I’m still hesitant to draft him top 10. He’s so light he’s only about 175 pounds soaking wet (right around the same size as Devonte Smith)

If we stay at 9 I don’t see us taking one. honestly on the upper end. There isn’t a guy that blows me away as a top 10 caliber guy. A ton of really good number 2 guys. agree with the Shenault and Shi assessment. Shenault is still so raw. He’s really not even a true WR. Every time he is used, it’s manufactured touches. Shi Really has been anything better than Byrd. I’m not expecting much other than a WR4 for him at this point.
