It’s a shame I was excited for Horn this year. I won’t arm chair doctor but non-contact drop feels like another ligament injury.

Bruh Jaycee Horn not again…

Bryce Young cool as a cucumber making great reads, scanning the field. Exactly why he went number one.

I’m excited for this season while simultaneously expecting absolutely nothing because the Panthers have been pretty much one of the worst franchises in professional sports for the entire time I have loved them.

Is YouTube tv a separate app on smart tv’s from the YouTube app I use now? I cancelled my Sunday ticket along with directv 3-4 years ago and went to Hulu. But if YouTube tv has everything Hulu has plus Sunday ticket, I might switch again.

I don't know if we can quite say that, considering one just got drafted 8th overall. Plus 3 vets being franchise tagged instead of let go (Barkley, Jacobs, and Pollard), which ain't cheap.
I would say sunsetting RB’s are getting the devaluation. Drafting a stud RB is a great idea still because they tend to acclimate to the NFL and produce early. The key is not to get sucked in and give them that contract. If I was an NFL GM I would draft a great RB, use him for 3-4 years, then trade him away for whatever I could get and call it a day. If he has a career year right before that big contract then great trade him away or take the comp pick when you lose him.
TLDR; Draft RB’s early, but never, ever sign them to big deal at end of rookie contract.

This is insane but I like your spirit. If we have a winning record I’ll do a backflip. 9-8 let’s do this.

Winning does wonders. Me and my buddy used to take the BART train to Warriors games in the 90’s and early 2000’s and buy a game day ticket for $35 at half court maybe 15 rows back during weeknight games.
Chase Center is now sold out every game and the seats are so expensive it’s cheaper for me to wait until they play the shitty Kings and drive to Sac and get a hotel after the game then drive over the bridge to SF to watch them at home. Should have never let go of my season tickets but ran into some tough times a few years back.

Golfing out here in the Bay Area with a buddy who is a big SF fan. Waiting at the first tee box the guys behind us saw his 49er golf bag and they started talking football. Dude was like even if Purdy can’t play we can win a championship with Sam Darnold. After a good 30 seconds of hearty laughter I told him exactly like Ethan Suplee did to the little kid in Mallrats, “you dumb bastard…”
I told him I’m a Carolina fan and good luck with all that.

@SCP has a history of questionable Jersey decisions if I am not mistaken. But I’m old and did not exactly great my body like a temple in my younger years so I could be wrong but I thought he had some horrible Jersey curse luck.

fug Von Miller and his merry band of headhunters against Cam Newton. They can all have a life of chronic pain after the nfl as far as I’m concerned.
And I suspect Von doesn’t even have a real prescription in those glasses fuging nerd.

I treat the NFL like it’s Madden and would want to draft the 6’ 5” athletic monster, but Young is my QB now so here’s to a hall of fame career!

Confess. You're actually planning to do some serious sh-t stirring aren't you?
Well I plan on making my self a couple of Four Roses Single Barrel Old Fashioneds and watching the annual huddle draft day meltdown. And yes, I may fug with new people who don’t even know who I am since I have been gone so long…

Everything about playing qb, isn’t in question. It’s that other thing that everyone is infatuated about.
His size? What are you referring to?

There isn’t a single talking head in the sports world that I actually wish bad things to happen to. Physical beat down. Maybe health wise to catch a horrible illness. I wish no ill on any of them. They are all just a gimmick with kind of a pointless job.
Except Mike Florio. This guy is a plague on the world and the sooner he can no longer speak the better off the planet will be.

He’s a good passer and great runner but having to give a quarter of our cap to him AND spend two firsts is a deal breaker. If it was two or three firsts with a rookie deal, sure. A quarter of the cap on a free agent, sure. No to both. Especially one with injury concerns.
Yup, giving up two or three first rounders to move up and grab a qb is one thing because by the time you have to pay them you’ve got first rounders back. Giving that up and owing $35MM is a tough pill to swallow.

Seemed like the hook on the left sideline was a Terrace Marshall mistake. Looks like he went to deep and didn’t turn in time.
