Yeah we can go with the draft to get our QB. No problem with that, but that's the loooooong plan. You're looking at getting slaughtered for possibly 3 more seasons, and that's if we even find our guy. That's going to be BRUTAL if that is the plan.

So stand pat and hope we spot a QB in the draft that we like. Until then just continue to build through the draft. The long play may eventually pan out, but I think some of our older Panthers fans will pass away before we have a good team.

I didn't read the whole thread, so what is your plan of action? What do you want the Panthers to do? Draft o-linemen and LBs for the next two seasons and stick with Darnold?

No it wouldn't because Watson couldn't prove that he was harmed personally or professionally by the post.

Watson might be found guilty, and he could be put on the exempt list. Maybe those women are all telling the truth, or maybe they are lying, or maybe some are truthful and some are lying. This all has to be sorted out in the future.

Christensen was trying to be helpful on the sack play, but then when he got close to Sam it was like he was possessed by a demon an decided to tackle him. I wasn't even sure if what I saw was real for a second.

You can play worst case scenario with any decision the Panthers make. Hell we're in the worse case scenario right now.

I saw a video of Rhule and his staff talking about trading for Sam. They thought he looked like Matthew Stafford, the guy they really wanted. Matt said he didn't want to come here, and Fitterer went into overdrive to find a vet.

I didn't want Sam to start with. That's a guy you pick up after he's cut and give him a 1 year prove it deal, or pay what you have to on the contract only. I still still don't know why we traded for him. No other teams wanted him.

Teddy could execute our offense, but Sam can't. The scary part is that Rhule and company thought Sam would be able to execute our offense BETTER than Teddy. Think about how bad you have to be in evaluating a QB that Sam, who has never proven anything, is the guy you thought would be great here. No one wanted Sam except us, and we payed a King's ransom. Why not wait until he was cut? No one wanted him. Just bizarre.

Watson is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

For those worried about the cap space and Watson, if we trade for him a lot things will change on the team. We will trade certain players, and let other players walk. Our team blueprint will change from defense oriented and game manager QB, to offense oriented with scrappy cheap defense. That's what the Dallas team that beat the brakes off of us did and it works. Of course it will take some time and nothing is 100% certain.

CMC's hammy will be healed in the next couple of weeks. All logic and common sense points to that.
