  1. I've become more of a passive observer this year. I'll watch and hope for the best, but this QB/coaching combo will never amount to anything significant. Also, many of the players in this team are stupid when it comes to football. We have a low football IQ team, and outside of blowing up the roster that will carry over ti next season. It's over long term. If we miracle our way into the playoffs, then expect this team to be obliterated. We're the equivalence of an octogenarian without Viagra.
  2. Ickey has earned a good new contract obviously. We do need to draft a RT maybe in the 2026 draft.
  3. The Saints totally had our number last time. But this is the NFL, and we have an extra week to prepare. This isn't like when we had River and did the same stuff no matter what. Canales will make adjustments to counter what the Saints did to us. Now will it work? Stay tuned. Hold on to your butts.
  4. I have never gone from hating to liking a QB this many times in my entire life.
  5. And of course the refs throw a celebration flag on us after calling only 1 penalty on the Rams all day.
  6. Merry f-ing Christmas Tmac cooked that little DB haha.
  7. Refs stopped us from score the last drive on a Vegas call and now we're trouble.
  8. Now they are holding us for massive runs. This is so sad.
  9. Refs killed our drive and took over the game on a bogus call. Thanks. Send that one to the league for review. Look into that ref. Fishy call.
  10. Worst holding call of the year. All he did was push his ass down. No holding. Holding would have held him up. Dirty call.
  11. Isaiah Simmons is absolutely horrible. His change of direction is poor, but the most disturbing part about him is how physically weak he is for his size. He can get stiff armed by WRs and knocked to the turf. Simmons will play OLB for us due to his height which can help in pass coverage. Keep in mind that he's terrible.
  12. The Rams need to have several key in game injuries for us to have a shot imo. I think the Rams may score 50 points. Our only realistic chance is that Rico goes crazy and keeps dopey Bryce from throwing a bunch of Thanksgiving left over turkeys out onto the field.
  13. It's really simple. Some teams are difficult to run the ball on. Some teams are easy. When we face tough run defense, the answer is not to run it more. It's not. Stop thinking that. Stop. The problem is compounded by the fact that the teams that stop the run are also pushing into the middle of the pocket, and this creates "blind Bryce" who can't get the ball out on time because he can't see, or has to move to try and find a throwing lane. If he has to move off his spot, then he can't throw anticipation timing routes. Now it's down to his improvisation, arm strength, agility, athleticism, IQ, and these are not his strengths. This is why we spent a fortune on veteran o-linemen. The main problem is Bryce's size. Another problem is that our receivers who are young and still learning. They botch pass plays, and even vets are screwing up. This adds to the dysfunction. To compound the problem we don't have the right offensive system for Bryce. WCO would be better. To make matters worse, we draw up plays that try to utilize offensive players who are cheeks. Tommy Tremble can't be our go to guy on critical plays where we need a TD. And Bryce is too dumb to back off and throw the ball away. He'll force it to Tommy between two defenders if Tommy was the #1 option on the play and Bryce is in a stressed state of mind. We need plays where TMac is the #1 option, #2 XL, #3 Cooker, #4 Rico, #5 Sanders, something like that. NOT #1 Tommy Tremble, #2 Moton, #3 Out of bounds. Furthermore, Bryce is a guy who looks super calm, but is really pooping his pants and doesn't show it outwardly. This is evidenced by how poor his decision making becomes once his is pressured a few times, or sacked. His decision making becomes horrendous most of the time, and that's fear. He's scared. What is the answer. I don't like Canales because he's not utilizing our best players and getting the most out of them. He wants to be cute and try to trick teams by going to our scrubs in critical situations. We have plenty of explosive firepower on offense with Rico and TMac, but Caales wants the ball going to Tommy Tremble. No one outside of hardcore Panthers fans even knows who Tommy is. He's a nobody who runs routes like he has CTE. Cute tricky plays are not what we need. Also there seems to be a complete disconnect between Young and Canales. They just don't mesh together at all. It's just a weird combo, like Cam and Rhule. It just doesn't work. I think Canales needs to pick a new QB, or we clean house. Pick one. No more Canales and Bryce. It's not working.
  14. Young is the kind of QB who will go as far as the team drags him 90% of the time. And once in a long while he'll explode and light the opposing team up. That is not anywhere near where we need to be as a team. What' worse is that we've won way too many games this season due to an extremely easy schedule. So we can't select a top QB in the draft, and a free agent QB is usually not the answer. The Panthers fell victim to a long stretch of bad QBs coming out of college. Even if we had made different moves and selected any number of different QBs coming out, we still would have ended up with a bust most likely. Bryce is a bust. Tua is a bust. Zach Wilson? Yikes. Trey Lance. Justin Fields. Mac Jones. Kenny Picket. CJ Stroud. My point is that a lot of teams were devastated by this stretch of bad QBs coming out of college, but we were dumb enough to trade the farm for one of them. The smart move? Tale the 2 first round picks from the Rams for Burns, and keep CMC. Sit tight. Whatever QB falls in your lap in the draft, take him. Then use the other two first round picks to build up the o-line on the cheap. This isn't Morning GMing. I said take the Rams deal at the time. We have not had a good GM ever in franchise history. No more trading up for QBs. Clearly is a total guessing game. Stay put. Trade vets for draft picks and start the rebuilding process with a new GM and new coaches. Cut Bryce and bring him back on a vet min deal. Then cut him again for being trash. He's done here if I had any say.
  15. I have no confidence in Young. At his point I'm ready to draft another QB. A great game here and there is not enough. Clean house. Get rid of Morgan, the coaching staff, and especially Bryce Young. It's not working obviously. If you have some emotional attachment to Young, then congratulations. I don't. I'm sick of watching him play.
  16. Which Panthers team is showing up against the 49ers? The world beating, 400 yards passing Reaper Bryce team, or a team that looks like it was exposed to toxic levels of carbon dioxide on the plane ride to SF? Who knows? This team makes no sense and has zero consistency. The could score 0 points, or 30. No idea. And just when you write them off, they'll come out and dominate.
  17. Young is better than Bridgewater, and we're better than the injury riddled Bucs with Bridgewater at QB. We'll sweep the Bucs if Baker doesn't return imo. That's huge. We have a chance at he playoffs with a cheeks team. Nice.
  18. The injury riddled Bucs with Bridgewater at QB would lose to even bad teams imo. Baker's shoulder decides our fate imo.
  19. For the first time on a long time I actually think we have a decent shot at the playoffs. However, this all hinges on Baker missing several games. If he recovers quickly, then we're back to being cooked.
  20. What is the latest on Baker? Our team is mediocre but with Baker in a sling we have a reasonable chance at making the playoffs. Bridgewater can only do check downs at this point in his career, so any team the Bucs play without Baker is an L imo. This is the best news all season.
