when you say, "had a nice gummy," exactly how many have you had today? -
"I'll take the zero."

although I think our line will be much improved this year, ever since the draft I've felt our first pick next year should be left tackle...just like every year since Jordan retired. I think we have enough in Cam and Daley to last through the year.

4 Questions for the Defense Going into 2021

rather than start a new thread for each article, we can all post things about potential trades here. Atthehive just published an article that pulls a lot of rumors together. "One of the names we’ve seen a lot, and one that we’ve seen a lot of in Hornets fans mock trades, is Myles Turner. The Hornets apparently REALLY want Turner, per J. Michael of the Indy Star. Turner brings a unique combination of shot blocking prowess and outside shooting ability. He isn’t the most adept passer and probably wouldn’t help with the Hornets rebound problems, but beggars can’t be choosers. The Hornets are also expected to pursue Jarrett Allen in free agency. Allen doesn’t have the outside shooting of Turner, but he’s a better rebounder, passer, and interior scorer. The Hornets probably have long odds to land Allen, as he’ll probably be a pretty hot commodity in free agency, but he’s restricted, so the Cavaliers would be able to match any offer. The Hornets are also apparently in the market for Mavericks big man Kristaps Porzingis. I honestly have no idea what people think of Porzingis anymore." https://www.atthehive.com/2021/6/15/22534483/charlotte-hornets-news-showing-interest-centers-myles-turner-jarrett-allen-kristaps-porzingis

How do you feel about playing with Brian Burns? "when you look at the talent between me and him, it should be scary. It's nothing to take lightly. I would definitely be worried if I was other offenses."

we would still need a defender in the post. One source stated that the Hornets are very intrigued by the possibility of adding Porzingis. They want to add a big man alongside LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier. Porzingis would not bring the defensive presence that they would like, but he would add more offensive firepower and more star power in general. During the 2020-21 season with the Mavericks, Porzingis ended up averaging 20.1 points per game to go along with 8.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks. He shot 47.6 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 37.6 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers show why a team like the Hornets should take a long look at acquiring him this offseason. Even though he is receiving a lot of criticism right now, there is no question that Porzingis is still a star in the NBA. He can score at a high level and is not a bad rebounder either. At just 25 years of age, Porzingis still has plenty of room to grow and improve. With a young and dynamic team like the Hornets, he could come in and fit perfectly right off the bat. https://www.nbaanalysis.net/2021/06/14/report-hornets-among-teams-considering-trade-for-kristaps-porzingis/

Catching fades with Robby Anderson
Captain Morgan replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Robby sounds grounded. I hope Aquib saved his money, because if he needs to make money hosting shows, he might as well just set up a go fund me. Robby is a character, but he's real and honest and I like him. and Robby likes Rhule..."he saved my life." also, those guys and I have different definitions of gas. -
honestly, between the DL, the LBs and Secondary....if the LBs are our weakest unit, I'm ok with that. We do need to draft some young talent next year, but I love what we have this year. Everything is set up for Reddick and Burns to eat well.

One week ago, in his OTA report Zod said this "Sam Darnold looked as good as any Panthers QB in OTAs I have seen. Throws were mostly good and on target. Not perfect, but they never are at this point in the season. There is a giant drop off between him and the next man up."

David Newton @DNewtonespn · 9m Panthers coach Matt Rhule showed the team video today of him sounding the siren before Tuesday night’s Hurricanes game. He wanted players to get a feel for what it’s like having a packed house and noise. “The game is still fun because of the fans,’’ quarterback Sam Darnold said. David Newton @DNewtonespn · 22m The Panthers ran a lot of hurry-up drills today with crowd noise because coach Matt Rhule wanted players to start getting a feel for what it's going to be like with fans in the stands again. And for noise in general. Haven't seen much crowd noise used in OTAs over the years.

Joe Person @josephperson · 11m Sam Darnold: "We know that Robby (Anderson) is going to be ready whenever he gets here." Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 11m Sam Darnold says he's been talking to Robby Anderson and that he knows he'll be ready "whenever he gets here."

Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg · 49s Sam Darnold says he has not yet been vaccinated. "I still gotta think about all those certain things that go into it ... It's everyone's choice, whether they want to get vaccinated or not."
