Happy Thanksgiving! What Panthers related thanks are you giving?
Captain Morgan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
so happy Cam is back home. Also as a Hornets fan, I'm very happy that LaMelo Ball is in Charlotte....he's given hope to a Hornets franchise that hasn't had any since the current team was formed. He is a joy to watch, a superstar in the making, and someone who wants to win. -
man waking up and reading this thread this morning.. I am HONGRY

Christmas will be my way. Period. There will be beef.

lol. However, his account may indeed have been hacked by an imposter. He got the name right. -
not that anyone needs another recipe to try for Thanksgiving, but ran across this one years ago and really liked it....easy too. asparagus casserolle I never added the water chestnuts, but the toasted buttered bread is essential for texture and flavor. 2 cans asparagus "drained" 1 large can Lesuer English Peas "do not drain" 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup 1 can water chestnuts 1 stick butter 4 slices white bread. Trim off edges and cut into strips "3 strips per slice" 1/2 lb shreaded cheese "2 cups" (I always used cheddar) Grease a 9x13 dish. Layer asparagus over the bottom of the dish. Mix peas and mushroom soup and pour over asparagus. Layer water chestnuts over mixture. Top with cheese. Dredge strips of bread on both sides in melted butter. Lay bread on top of cheese and bake at 350 deg for 40 min.

road game for Thanksgiving eve, but it's Orlando (4-14 and only 1-6 at home) so we should win. We're healthy. Glad to have Hornet basketball tonight, football tomorrow, and then Hornets game Friday and Saturday. By the way, if you count the things you're thankful on Thanksgiving, be sure to give thanks for LaMelo Ball.

see, I'd love to do a prime rib, but one of my dang sisters does't want that. That vanilla bean whipped sweet potato thing sounds very good, haven't heard of that before.

what's on your table? I'm not a big turkey fan, but tradition rules, so I'll make both smoked and fried (oil less turkey fryer). What I'm looking forward to the most is the dressing and green bean casserolle, and pecan pie. Also very happy to be able to bring out the gravy boat for it's once a year visit to my table. There will be beer and later, scotch. But really grateful that my two sisters and I will be together for our first Thanksgiving in over 15 years. Food, family, football, beer ....it doesn't get much better than that. What are your favorite foods, and traditions (we always have the canned cranberry sauce in honor of our late mom)? Anyone do oyster dressing?

while he's still got some significant recovery time to go, it's great to see him back on the field around the guys...it's a good sign. He surpassed my expectations for a rookie corner....qb's didn't want to throw at him. -
Haason and Cam is gonna take a chunk out of our cap, but we can do it. Cap space after next year is huge thanks to finally getting some Hurney contracts off the books: 43 mill (!!!) in dead money will disappear at the end of this year and some good work by Fit and Samir.
