And he said I was correct. The Panthers are paying 6M for his services. Not 2M. For one year. And where is this gracious apology you speak of? The one you called “sarcastic” in the first post (which I agree it was). Is the only one. So I brought up a flaw, he agreed it had merit, but you can dream all this other stuff up that didn’t happen. The adults have no problem. It’s your clueless, hypocritical self that has the issue as always. Delusional insecurities. You can’t discuss actual football topics so you devolve threads into this BS.

Find anything I was wrong about over the last 4 years and I’ll never post here again. Easy enough for you. You can be a hero. Rid the board of me. Otherwise, ignore me and continue complaining about complaining.

    1. You were correct for what you said. You were however WRONG about what the thread was about. You have been told numerous times that this thread is about THIS years Cap hit. THIS YEARS. Damm dude.

You truly cannot envision any scenario where you could possibly be wrong. Typical Narcissist

When he apologized, he was being sarcastic.

When he said you were right, he was being gracious.

He owned you, and you don't even recognize it. That is a LMAO

So how did I “make” him apologize if he never really did. Which story is it?

I will explain it to you. Then I am done.

@elliswas talking about Burns, and Reddicks Cap hit THIS year. You then come in with this "Where are you putting the 4M Reddick salary that hits next year when he’s playing on another team?" Your first post talks about NEXT year. See where I'm going?

@ellisthen said "LMAO, I have no idea who will end up where, I’m just using 2021 cap hit figures" Where he explains he is talking about THIS year. You come back by telling him how the contract works. Ignoring that he is talking about THIS year.

He then tries to explain himself. And you still told him he was wrong.

He tried to be gracious and apologize to you, yet you still told him his thread was wrong, and as he had his name on it. You felt he needed to set the record straight.

So yeah, you badgered him until he relented. And you still have no idea he won.

No chance they regret moving on from Teddy. They may regret something else, like not taking Fields as you mention, but taking the L on Teddy and making the change was absolutely the right and necessary thing to do, just like I assume they will move on from Sam if need be.

We all have to agree that at this point, this staff looks to move on quicker than any other staff we have probably ever had.

They seem willing to accept the mistake, make adjustments, then move on.

OMG dude. He was being gracious. It's a thing people with compassion do when they want to exit a situation.

So...You are an expert in the Cap, the Panthers, and just general football knowledge. But you can't see sarcasm, nor compassion? That sure explains an awful lot.

He didn’t have to apologize to me at all. Which is why I specifically asked why he did. And what was I supposed to apologize for? I told him the truth. And explained it was out of respect. And so he knew because he put his name on it. We are both fine. What’s your issue except it isn’t a 100% positive about the team?

I know all about your post history. It hasn’t changed since the first day I got here over 6 years ago. You might as well just post GO TEAM and it would save time. Everyone knows your opinion on everything already. You spend all your time complaining about people complaining. Want to show me some posts where you don’t do that?

Dude. He was being sarcastic. It went straight over your head. lol

  6. 1 minute ago, Toomers said:

Whose thread? Why did you quote this person? Are you losing it? And again, if I’m wrong how about you show me what I’m wrong about. How many times does Ellis have to say I was right that the numbers were wrong? As usual, if it isn’t positive about the Panthers, it’s a lie.

Find something to back up your statement or STFU.

As a Narcissist, you cannot conceive of you being wrong. @ellis was right, it was his thread. He was talking about THIS year. You swoop in all superior, and told him he was wrong. lol

But hey, boss me around some more. We can add bully to your resume'.

  7. 1 minute ago, Toomers said:

The difference is two people with actual football knowledge were able to solve any issues in a couple posts and find an agreeable point. The numbers were wrong. I posted it to one of the very few posters I respect on here.

You dive into every thread that says it’s even possible the team might be wrong. About anything. No facts, no points no reason ever given but “fandom”. Either find where I’ve been wrong like I said or put me on ignore. That’s why you have to bitch about me being the fan of another team. Who still knows more about your team than you ever will.

Except you never apologized to @ellis. He had to apologize to you, just to get things back on track.

Also, do you, or do you not have Notifications turned on?

Lastly, I am quite sure you have no idea about my post history. But condescend away.

Maybe his pleasant demeanor is holding him back.

I know I overreacted. But man, when he basically said @ellis thread was wrong, I lost it. @ellis  even tried to explain it. Narcissists like that can't conceive of themselves being wrong. Which is why you had to apologize to him. lol

I hope that @ellis keeps up the good work. There are a bunch of us that appreciate what he brings.

Oh, yeah, he's a peach. He's never condescending, nor overly critical. He's just a Capologist...with an attitude. Reread his posts in this thread.

He came into @ellisthread, and basically told him he was doing it wrong. Kept at it, until @ellishad to apologize. For his own thread.

    Yeah, he's a peach alright.

I like watching train wrecks. And Since I had to watch Cam play for this pitiful organization for the better part of a decade, and never discussed him at all, I have earned the right to state an opinion once in awhile. You just don’t like it because it’s usually right. And it’s all on here for proof. Just like your years of whining about how every move the team makes is perfect, but the Panthers pick top 10 on the reg. Do you have negative facts about team notification on yours. Because you have spent years doing the same thing and being wrong all the time.

After reading your posts for way too long. The only part in that whole thing that was even close to true, was your opening sentence.

It still begs the questions; Do you have "Caps" on your notifications? Why are you here? Did you send out your resume' to any actual NFL teams?

  11. 7 minutes ago, Toomers said:

I never said you did this all the time, or even once before. So why apologize to me personally? I pointed out some flaws in your theory. With exact figures that you didn’t include. Should I have just stood up and cheered at your fluff piece while you’re LYAO as a response? You self-proclaimed “experts” sure are touchy when anyone points out a mistake.

Do you have a Cap notification on your phone? Every thread that even mentions Cap, and they you are.

Do you do this for every team? Or are we the only one who gets to revel in your brilliance?

I just can't believe you aren't working for an actual NFL team. Not here with us mere mortals. Surely there must be something better you could be doing with all that knowledge? Maybe teaching?

Yep. I was told we loved Mac Jones. That information was incorrect 🤷‍♀️

I am past caring if you all believe me or not. I don't know what you think I would gain by just coming on here and lying.

I had our draft board as

    1. Pitts

    2. Jones

    3. Sewell

    4. Horn

    5. Waddle/Chase

I still think that is somewhat accurate aside from obviously Mac Jones. I don't know where you get "threw 100 things at the wall from I was pretty consistent in what I put out there.

I've already decided I will not be doing any of this next year during draft time, so consider this Watson drop my final piece from my friend.

Please don't let a couple of Trolls knock you off your game. Believe it or not. 97+% of us Huddlerz appreciate what you do.

Ignore the Trolls, and life is good. I tell ya what.

Edit to add; I bet the vast majority on here are jealous you even have a source.

Optimism isn't bad but thinking that far ahead and setting your sights that high is a good way to end up getting smacked right in the forehead by reality this fall. The big hurdle this team must get over before any success is improving in the division. We have been booty cheeks in the south and that must change first and foremost.

Optimism is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it.

Edit to add: Bump for some apparent reason.

This is why it’s sometimes hard having conversations with people on here. I love the enthusiasm but this comment leads me to believe when discussing the panthers ur views are more biased than objective. Nobody is gunna take yours or anybody else’s fan card for being objective.

I’ll say this for the 1000th time. DJ is currently not elite and outside of this fanbase, I’d bet 99% agree. Doesn’t mean he can’t get there. But his stats don’t equate to difference maker.

I get what you are saying. But I was responding to someone who told me to take my Rose Colored Homer Glasses off.

As to Moore? What else does he have to do for you to give him the credit he deserves?

  15. 24 minutes ago, PantherKyle said:

Elite is a big term to throw around. DJ can become it, but he certainly is not an elite wr yet. Cmc and Moton are elite. Burns is fringe and I think cements himself as elite this year. Chinn and Brown have the potential.

The same DJ Moore who has 3200yds in his first 3 years? Back to Back 1200 yd seasons, with 5 different QBs. That DJ Moore? Seems Elite to me. But it's your opinion, so there you go.

My point was more about the fact that we have 7-8 really talented kids. With more on the way. This team is trending upwards. And I just wish more folks could be as excited as I, and my fellow Sunshine Squad members are.

You are expecting 1000 yards from the TE spot? Moore/Anderson are good for over 2k, probably 1500 for CMC and other WRs/RBs. 1000 yards at the TE spot means around 5000 yards passing for Darnold.

I think 1000 yards is way too optimistic.

Teddy threw for 3733 last year. Sam should be able to best that by a bit. I mean, if everything goes to plan anyway. But 4200+ yards seems doable.

I would think that if our zone running scheme works, we may not pass nearly as much as we may think. Not a huge numbers less, but not a throw the ball all over the yard Offense.

Sam's best friend would be a good ground game. Duh.

The one glaring weakness of Fitts resume is that they have whiffed a ton on O line

I''m not sure we should close that book just yet. We do have some games to play. Let's see what happens before we make a final judgement.

There are more than a few around here who may want to add QB to that list. Or at least at this point in time anywho.

Agreed. All things equal, Moton playing well at LT makes it easier to get to a solid OL. We’ve heard them say BC is a RT or G, so if Moton can man LT, it helps us a lot more. That said, if he has issues then you leave him at RT.

IMO, that is a tough choice. Paradis, Miller, and Moton played well last year. If you put BCris at LG, you only need to fill LT. Or, if you put BChris at RT, and Moton at LT. You need to find a LG.

I like going BChris at LG. I don't like DTs collapsing the pocket. I want my QB to be able to step up. Plus we have Tremble to help out.

Or, if we put BChris at RT. We have a bunch of guys to throw at LG.

Flip of a coin kinda thing?

Edit to add. With a little luck, this could be something. What that something is?

  19. 47 minutes ago, hepcat said:

Yes I read your post…You responded to my post asking what other players on the team I consider elite, I told you. There’s CMC and Moton. You mentioned a bunch of average to good players. I responded saying why they clearly aren’t elite players.

You don’t need to be wildly over-optimistic to be a true fan. I’m just being real. The team just re-signed the only other elite player on this team than CMC and for that I am happy. Keeping elite talent is how you win games.

Oh, I get it now. Because I wear Rose Colored Homer Glasses, I can't be right? But because you keep it real, you are right?

PFF has Burns @19, and 1 of the top Edge Rusher under 25. But that's not Elite?

DJ has back to back 1200 yd seasons, with 5 different QBs. But that's not Elite?

If keeping it real, means you can undervalue our players, I'll pass  But I am going to continue to give credit where credit is due.

That was 3 games. Let's be frank you're not putting CMC on the bench right now for Chuba. He will probably spell him 30% if that much. Still in two years that number will probably be closer to 40% or more.

If you are the Panthers Head Coach, fighting for wins. Why would you take your best weapon off the field, when you have no capable back-up?

If Chubba can find success, that just might allow Rhule to actually sit CMC once in a while. At least that is the hope anywho.

  21. 3 hours ago, hepcat said:

We have crazy different definitions of an elite player. To me an elite player is someone who could be first or second team all-pro any given season. You’re just talking about players with potential at this point. Currently elite players on the team, it’s just CMC and Moton.

Burns is not elite. Yet. He hasn’t even had a double digit sack season. But he’s clearly the closest player on the team to becoming an elite player.

Horn, Brown, Chinn - all guys who are too early to say. Potential is there though.

DJ is not elite. He is a good WR. TD production lacking and that could be QB caused, but his numbers and impact is not elite.

Reddick? He has miles to go to be considered elite. He had most of his sacks in one game last season. He got let go from his previous team for a reason, because he’s wildly inconsistent.

And you’re talking about Dan Arnold becoming an elite player? Cmon man. The rose colored homer glasses are just too much!

Did you actually read my list? Or did you just respond to the first paragraph?

And show me a fan without Rose Colored Glasses. And I'll show you a fan that has other interests. Every Die Hard Fan wears em. I mean, if you are a fan, and don't wear them? Why be a fan?

  22. Chubba was a great pick. He had really good success in this exact system. He absolutely can be a home run threat. To me, that was the drawback of sitting CMC. The drop-off in production.

This was another example of the present regime not just adding players, but adding players that actually fit their basic scheme. Then they coach em up, and put them in a position to succeed. Competence, thou art a welcome sight.

Burns could get there quickly. Maybe Chinn, or Derrick Brown if he keeps improving. I hope Horn becomes elite given his NFL bloodline.

After those guys, I don’t think there’s anyone even in the conversation for “elite”.

Riddick had a great year last year. If he has another one this year, would that not be great? What about DJ? We have to count him. Arnold is a guy who has a chance at a big year. Not a lot of chatter around his name. But yeah, other than the kids we think have talent, that's pretty much it...for now.

     So...Elite-CMC, Moton, Burns, DJ

Maybe-Chinn, Brown, Horn, and maybe Riddick

Not bad, not great. But it is a pretty good start.
