I can't decide whether getting poo from @uncfan888and @Waldois a good thing or a bad thing. It is nice to get recognition for your work. But it's also a little creepy that these 2 guys are everywhere I go.
Sooo...creepy good right?

Our most effective play in the red zone this year seems to have been the Sam Darnold, "fug it, nobody is open I'm just gonna run it in myself" play. In other words, NOT doing the play Brady has called.
Let that marinate for a bit.
Sam Darnold got five touchdowns in four weeks this way. Seems that Teddy had to forget the play and just run it in a few times himself, too last year.
Our OC just isn't ready for prime time. He may have saved his job with the team getting a win last week.
Come on man. You can't give yourself credit. For a scenario you yourself invented. Or maybe you can. Who knows with this joint.
Edit to clarify; We as fans have no idea what plays are being called. We may guess when it looks like an audible. But the actual plays. That's just guesswork on our part.

What is often forgotten is; these guys are human beings. With families, and hopes and dreams. Yet far too many fans treat them like possessions. Chew them up, and spit them out. With no regards to the player
Expendable, coward, and dumb are words I have read in just the last 2 days. After a win.
And back to our regularly scheduled show. Complaining? Does it actually do a body good?

Actually when I suggested the defender be penalized for leading with the helmet on that play you attacked me. Who is really moving the goal posts here? You aren't making much sense.
Damm dude, someone questions your thought process and you get all up in the feels. And once again you have moved the goalpost.
You're a trip. You act all high and mighty, then get so defensive when questioned. No wonder you are perfectly alright with calling Sam expendable. You never have to defend your stance.

Has anyone seen my Huddle. I could have sworn it was right here, but I can't seem to find it.

You can whine about it if you like but none of us here were the ones who put him in that situation and I said those runs would end up in a big collision eventually.
LOL you move goalposts like it's your job. Stick to the topic. Explain how calling a Panther player expendable is acceptable.

Lol no. Darnold not sliding got him hurt
Yeah, Sam is such an idiot. Who is dumb enough to want to make a play in that situation?
And if Sam had slid, you'd probably call him out for not going for it.
Ah Goob, never change dude.

Oh relax with the drama. Nobody wants to see any player injured. We don't know what his future holds as the starter here but until shown otherwise it doesn't look particularly bright rn and acknowledging that is just reality. We obviously can't wait forever for the light to finally come on for a fourth year pro.
You may be fine with a Huddler saying Sam is expendable. That does not however, make it right. Grow up.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but it was Paradis that actually missed the block. It was his man that hit Sam.
Tremble cleaned up Irvings miss. Irving had little impact on that play.
You can say Irving never hit anyone, but it is wrong to blame him for the hit.

Been here 12 years myself and I’ve never seen this much overwhelming negativity. I just wonder why someone would waste their time and energy on something they find so awful.
It does seem counter intuitive.

Well we just added Gilmore to the mix seeing him for the first time not sure stats will reflect it yet. Not to mention 2 of the guys I mentioned are injured.
Yeah, this secondary can match up to a whole lot of top secondaries. 4 top cover corners, with Chinn and Burris in the back. And it is only going to get better. A definite bright spot.

DJ, Gilmore, Bouye, Taylor, and Chinn. Yeah, I'll take that over almost anybody anytime, anywhere. That's without Jaycee, and CJ.

oh we're back to discrediting wins based on who is at QB and how many points we win by I see.
Yupperz. If you find something that works, stay with it.

We did throw the ball 30 times. So it's not like we totally abandoned the running game.
Drops, and ill-timed penalties were huge.

Look at the talent level now, compared to when Rhule got here. From a talent standpoint, we are trending up.
It is only year 2 of a complete rebuild. I'm happy staying the course.

There was a play later in the game I think we were still down 9-10 before the FG put us up 12-10. The OL collapsed and Sam air mailed it out the back of the endzone.
Ok all of that is fine, but that is a far cry from "we did not throw the ball into the endzone even one time" that is what I was on about.
PJ threw 1 as well. So that's 3.

It got us a W yesterday as opposed to Darnold throwing 40 times a game ineffectively in a losing effort. Sometimes going back to the basics works.
A win, is a win. I am not going to dissect it. I am going to enjoy it. The optimal word being enjoy.
Folks pretty much thought we were a 5-9 win team to start the year. That all they wanted was improvement. Well here we are at 4 wins. Seems like we are right on track.

Of the top 10 rushing offenses in the NFL currently, 50% have top 10 paid RB's.
You don't have to spend a ton of money to get that production. The Ravens are the #3 rushing offense in the NFL and have spent a relatively small amount on their RB's.
That's because of Jackson. You are talking RBs aren't you?
A top RB absolutely makes your offense better. No way to deny it.

We're also one win away from matching last season's total, and it just hit halfway thru the season!

If you are objective, DJ didn't do his job.
If you hate Sam, it was his fault.
Robbie finally caught a pass, and he got popped. Maybe that's why he drops so many passes. Doesn't want to get hit.
And LOL at folks who claim that Sanchez, because he was a bad QB, doesn't know football. You know who you are.

Erving's "effort" on the play that got Sam hurt
in Carolina Panthers

It's a catch 22 kinda thing. Fans want their QB to be even keeled. Except when they want them to get fired up.
