Shanahan should have deferred. We all know he gave Reid the power in OT.
-
Niners DL needs more life

Best QB play wins this game. Mahomes turn.
-
Nice play by Purdy to counter refs
-
These refs picking and choosing their penalties
-
CMC is playing hurt. big time player.
-
They are a WCO. You count those quick passes away from defenders as runs
-
Refs want to take over the SB in OT?
-
Flags now?
-
Shanahan has to be aggressive now. It's coming down to best QB play. Coaches, defenses & running game are matched evenly
-
Shannahan & Wilks playing it too safe. Need a playmaker on defense now to beat their man straight up
-
Wilks burning clock & playing ot safe
-
Looking like OT coming

Will Steve Wilks & 49ers defense win this Lombardi Trophy?

Chiefs D needs to match 49ers D
-
Going to come down to best QB play
-
It's a WCO. The leading receiver is CMC. How many deep passes do you think have been attempted and been incomplete? 6?
-
I understand, but if CMC & Deebo can't get the lead back Purdy has to factor in soon. I'd hate to see Shannahan wait until they're down 2 scores with less than 8 minutes in the game to make that call. Putting Purdy in another tough spot in playoffs. Shannahan did that with Kimmy G too.
-
When does Shannahan open up the play calling for Purdy? He's been keeping the play calling tight since they had the lead. Chiefs sitting on CMC & Samuel has struggled.
-
Chris Conley underrated and still making big plays in big games
-
Romo at the top of his commentator game. According to him Joey Bosa is on the 49ers. Kuechly & Davis hit him too hard.
-
Will the refs call holds on the Chiefs OL too like they did the 49ers? Chiefs OL holds the most of any team in the NFL.

Bill Walsh dominace in the NFL from WCO, to roster building, to QBs, to WRs, to coaches during the entire SB era. It's unstoppable. No one can consistently beat it. Hate the Panthers were too early to the Bill Walsh party in hiring Seifert. Defensive coaches like Carroll, Dungy & Belichick struggled until he released his book for them to study going into the 2000s. Prior to the 2000s Walsh's offensive students instantly dominated the NFL Walsh dominace continues in 2024

In a deep qb class should the panther take one day 3?

Canales would work well developing Sam Hartman in a WCO system behind Bryce Young. -
Breaking Down the Shrewed moves that Built the Carolina Panthers
CPantherKing replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Did you know... The Panthers are in the same position as the 1979 49ers were when no coach wanted to work for their ownership & they went with a 1 year NFL OC with NFL QB success including rehabbing the career of a #1 pick QB in Jim Plunkett (went on to win the SB) who the 49ers tossed away for a rookie QB 1 year prior. Steve Spurrier (#3) & Jim Plunkett (#1) were their failed 1st round QB projects they traded away the franchise for to eventually go with Walsh to fix a struggling rookie Steve DeBerg going into his second season. That's our hope. Now, Canales just needs to draft a 3rd/4th round QB to develop behind a struggling 2nd year QB he is tasked to resurrect. Trade Young after replacing him late in the 2025 season with our new Joe Montana. Dynasty built! That's our hope during these dark times. Blueprint for success?
