I don’t think Tepper benched Bryce. I think Dave actually watched the tape and said fug this. He has a job to do outside of Bryce Young. He’s the HC. He’s ultimately there to win. Rivera would say things post game and contradict himself the following presser as well.

Brees was a more talented player. Secondly, the Saints wouldn't have had the success they did if not for bounty gate, and the post Katrina sympathy boost they got from the NFL and the officials. I was never on board with emulating their bullshit.

I know I’m just a fan but I’ve started coming around to the idea that the QB position isn’t as cerebral as the media makes it out to be. No it is in fact not like being as smart as a Doctor or a Lawyer But it’s more about knowing the offense so well that you can manipulate the defense when needed and play within the game with your given physical tools.

Resign Cam and give him the offseason to prepare in this offense. Trade down from #1, get us a new pass rusher, LB, a Center for the future.

Bryce looks like a fraud right now. Sad to see. I hope by some miracle he resurges and shows us what we all wanted to see. But what blows my mind is that he's made it this far in his career with these kinds of underlying issues. And that might have a lot to do with the fact that he's been coddled and groomed for his opportunities since the beginning. Had Bryce Young come from a local NC High School I would imagine he would have been concussed, or possibly taken too much wear and tear to make it to the college game. Or simply would have gone to a lesser tier school and got exposed or looked like a JAG.

If Dave is the real deal then who the hell knows. Dalton might have a career resurgence. Either way we'll at least be able to evaluate the WR's and the offense as a whole.

I don’t think Matt Moore ever benched himself though. He was always better than Clausen. But Fox wasn’t trying to win anymore at that point.

Yet again the answer for 3 years in a row is to bring in Cam. They won’t do it out of ego. But if they’re serious about winning they would.

It’s mind boggling that he made it this far. There are Uncle Rico's and Highschoolers out there who step in and do a better job right now. It honestly makes you question how college players are evaluated.

The answer was obvious for like 3 years in a row. But the best thing we could have done was promote Wilks to HC because he earned it and the team bought it. There's something to be said about momentum and being in the right place at the right time. We were one JC Horn game away from the playoffs. Resign Cam, then draft AR or CJ Stroud. We could still have DJ Moore, or CMC possibly.
