I think Bryce has elite traits in his mind for the game, his touch, and anticipation. But he does not have elite traits in size, throw power, leadership, confidence. He looked amazing at Bama because he had a stacked roster in the college ranks. It was easier for the offense to have flawless execution. Now that Bryce is in the NFL it’s easier to throw off his type of game because more individual matchups are lost or disrupt the timing of the offense. And since Bryce lacks the physical traits to overcome these issues the offense just putters unless everyone is playing well. I won’t take away all of his credit for the comeback today. Yes ARZ played vanilla but every team does that with a lead. I just want to see us play like that in the first quarter. And as the sample size gets larger it just doesn’t seem like what it takes to get this offense going is A. Sustainable, B. Reasonable.
