This is what I want from my 4th and 5th Wr on the roster.. 1. Special teams ace.. 2. A specialist you can design plays and packages for.. 3. A spot starter 4. A young development player with skill sets to become a future starter.. Who on our roster fits any of these ccategories best should make the team..

But you can have a idea of what you hope to have in a 4th and 5th Wr.. Do you want a possession guy or a potential game breaker?

Before this new age of rookie Wr blowing up.. Gettis rookie season was considered solid.. Add in the fact he was playing with Clausen and Moore not Cam..

Timms is the 4th Wr for the pats and a deep play threat. Ginn was the 4th Wr for the Cardinals and a special teams returner.. Karl Hankton for years was our 4th and 5th Wr and also our best special teams player.. Dante Hall was a 4yh and 5th Wr and sspecial tteams and offensive weapon for years..

What does he do other than sit and wait for other to be hurt?? It's not help on special teams..

Serious qquestion if your 4th and 5th Wr is not a special teams guy or big time play maker.. Why is not a wasted roster spot??

Again Lafell and Gettis didn't get this much adulation and they caught way more clutch passes and we're way more talented..
