I'm just saying Baker wasn't coming in as a perfect prospect and without baggage. This wasn't like bringing in Watson, Stafford or Wilson.. Unquestioned guys.. Baker had question and I think it help him and the team that he proved it on the field instead of it being giving to him.. And forced on the roster with no competition.. Now he has developed his leadership and trust on the field and not during a press conference.. Even if we had a good idea he could do it .. Its alot better to see it on the field..

That's your narrative.. Reality check.. Baker had question on his injury, leadership if he had enough time to learn the offense and if his team carried him.. There was also question for the locker Room accept Baker.. I can name 3 analysts now outside of Carolina who thought Sam physically was a better prospect.. Bucky, Chris Simms and Jake Delhome thought Sam had a chance to win... We can all have opinions but what's wrong with Baker proving it on the field.. He beat him out now we can move on knowing "as a fact" Baker is better the locker room is assured and the OC who didn't want either coming out the draft is secured.. Now Baker has the chip on his shoulder and work for the job.. JMO that will give us the better Baker instead of the entitled Baker we saw in Cleveland..

My major issue remains that Brady wasn't even a play caller or offensive coordinator.. He was just a passing game coordinator.. A guy who design passing plays and study video.. He didn't know how to run a practice design a full offense (running and passing) or call plays in a game situation.. That's why we never had 2nd half adjustments or could adapt to changing defense scheme.. That's why Teddy was shocked we didn't practices situational football or red zone plays.. Rhule should have been fired for this alone..

I don't understand the frustration with 2 weeks and a half in TC/and 1 game in preseason... Ppl mad he gave ppl jobs with no competition last year.. Then mad at having a competition not giving away jobs this year.. Rep Distribution anger when not giving poo years before.. More experience coaches on staff but nobody thinks they are making decisions.. Smh..

At this point even if you can't trade him for a bag of chips.. Take the hit and move on.. Tepper had no problem paying Teddy to play for the Broncos.. Pay Sam to go surf..

The only locks on the roster is Baker and Corral now.. If PJ proves anything tonight.. They will feel comfortable getting rid of Darnold..
