I don’t really get what he’s saying if it’s not a shot at Bryce. Sounded like the implication was the mic could block Bryce because he was shorter than that guy who said he was 5’9. Idk though. One thing I do know is that like others have said, if that dude is 5’9 then Bryce is easily 6ft.

Oh look, another temper tantrum rambling that could have been put into one of the 8 other threads. The only new concern I have from these first 2 preseason games is Ekwonu and needing Corbett a little more than we thought. Did all these reactionaries expect all-pro play from third string guards? Did they expect Chuba Hubbard to all of a sudden be somebody he’s never been? Did they expect the defense to have no growing pains switching to 3-4 and to dominate without Brian Burns and Derrick Brown? I’m genuinely confused at anything beyond just the o-line hasn’t been good yet. Bryce Young looks like he belongs. That’s pretty good for his first couple drives in the NFL. I’ve noticed many of these chicken littles are the same ones who hated the draft, especially Bryce Young and DJ Johnson. Funny how they don’t recognize at all any of the positives we have seen from those 2 picks. It’s almost like they only care about finding things to complain about. Also, it’s preseason, and for at least one game (Jets) it was very clear the teams had extremely different goals for that game. They literally game planned for us with the stunts on defense. The good news is we likely got a lot more learning points from that game than they did.

Can we merge all these threads into one? This is pathetic.

Is there some other way you would like it demonstrated that lack of emotion on the sidelines is not a good indicator of bad coaching? It’s called an example.

Tbh, I was expecting that result all along and not because I’m a pessimist on the team. Facing a run heavy ATL on the road game 1 with a brand new 3-4 defense just never seemed like a good game for us, then getting a good vet QB in game 2. Our pre-bye schedule is rough for a team that is going to still be working things out.

He graduated from Bama and was the starting QB for 2 seasons. To say he’s only an Oklahoma QB and not an Alabama QB ALSO is extremely dumb. Extremely dumb. This whole conversation is extremely dumb.
