  1. Oh good lord. 90% of the attention we got while Cam was here was negative and trashy hot takes. We’re either a gutsy underdog story to the media, or they’ve made us the bad guy. Just stop.
  2. I couldn’t give less of a fug what Peter King thinks after his trashy hot takes the last time we drafted a QB #1.
  3. “After speaking with multiple sources this weekend including those close to the team…” Aka, some sources close to the team confirmed interest in CJ Stroud, and some dude at a gas station said they want AR, so I’m going to lump them together to generate responses and clicks.
  4. ? Houston population is 2.28 million. Charlotte population is 879k. Texas population is 29.5m. North Carolina population is 10.6m. South Carolina population is 5.1m. Steve Smith 1031 Receptions, 14731 yards, 81 TDS, 14.3 avg. Andre Johnson 1062 receptions, 14185 yards, 70 tds, 13.4 avg. SSmith 387 rush yds, 2 tds. Johnson 54 rush yds, 0 tds. Smith 1684 return yds, 4 tds. Johnson 0. Smith 16802 total yds, 87 tds. Johnson 14239 total yds, 70 tds. Not even close. Stop being dumb.
  5. Did you see the WRs getting more votes than Smith for the HOF? Andre Johnson? Gtfo.
  6. Reich and McCown. If they want another mentor they can hire another coach.
  7. Yeah, TEs always seem to take a couple years.
  8. I don’t know if we can afford to take a blocking TE in the 2nd with how great the need has become for pass catchers, but we’ll see how free agency goes.
  9. I don’t remember everything, but I do remember the crazy money top rookie QBs were getting.
  10. Yeah but a lot of that was from being the last QB to get that old rookie QB money under the old CBA.
  11. So there’s this guy named Davante Adams… Now, I’m not saying a guy like Davante Adams is easy to find. But I do believe that DJ Moore is on the more easily replaceable end of the spectrum as #1 WRs go.
  12. Not sure we’re talking about the same Bears QB. Both those teams would kill to have the first selection of QB in that draft, rather than the 3rd and 4th. We got first choice of QB, that’s what you’re missing. People who say the top prospects this year are not great prospects are just ill-informed tbh. It’s also not every year that the team drafting #1 is not looking for a QB. Good luck getting Maye or Williams next year unless you want to actually tank for a top pick, which is what it would take. Pretending that we would automatically be able to select the top QB next year is just as dumb as not realizing that this exact time last year people were saying the same thing about a historically strong QB class, and the year before when people said Howell looked like a can’t miss #1 pick. It’s always next years class.
  13. I don’t really see how 12 is an option but it would obviously be a no brainer if it was.
  14. The Bears traded a first, a fourth, and a fifth to move from 20 to 11 to take the 4th QB in a draft. The 49ers traded 2 firsts and a third to move from 12 to 3 to take the 3rd QB in a draft. We traded a first, 2 seconds, and DJ Moore to move from 9 to 1 and take the first QB off the board. And some of y’all are actually complaining lol.
  15. This. When I went to look up some opinion videos on the trade it was basically all from Chicago’s perspective. It’s funny how high the opinion is on DJ Moore all of a sudden. Suddenly, he’s some top 5 level WR when the Panthers trade him.
  16. Hope Corral shows out in the preseason so we can trade him for at least what we paid for him. His opportunities here just went out the window. You can thank that clown Matt Rhule and you can thank Tepper for taking too long to fire him. I feel bad for Corral, he basically never had a chance.
  17. “Ok Shaq, so we have this opening at WR…”
  18. Guess who just got released! https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35813539/cardinals-cut-wr-chosen-robbie-anderson-save-12m-cap It’s destiny!
  19. Because you can draft a Tom Brady in the 6th or a Patrick Mahomes at 10 every year of course. It’s just nobody tries to do that for some reason I just don’t get it.
  20. Makes sense if they are equally happy with either Young or Stroud, and Texans are all in on one. I’m sure they have an idea what the Texans offered for #1. If they could trade back to 2 and pick up the Texans 2nd rd pick (33 overall) and still get their guy, that would be a coup. Essentially trading DJ Moore, 2024 1st, 2025 2nd, and moving up from 61 to 33 for the #2 overall. That would be pretty nuts. I will say I do think Young is worth sticking at 1 and drafting.
  21. Well it seems to have saved us our 2025 1st rd pick and maybe another mid round pick, so not the worst. Would rather we had DJ for our new QB but it is what it is. Bryce Young come on down!
  22. Ok, now tell us how many QBs are drafted in the first round and what is the % of success of those QBs compared to the % of all other QBs. I don’t think it will support your point but who are we kidding you’ll cherry pick whatever you can find that supports your world view, no matter how flawed. Just like you think saying 52 of 107 QBs to make it to a championship game were not first rd QBs supports not drafting a first rd QB. That’s actually a huge argument in favor of first round QBs lol.
