  1. I can see some of you want big man run fast no matter what so we’ll just see come draft day.
  2. Did Will Levis have such a markedly better cast around him? He managed to complete 65% and I don’t see anybody banging the Levis drum. Maybe AR doesn’t throw a very catchable ball.
  3. You missed the point completely. He excused ARs poor college QB play saying Florida didn’t have talent, I’m comparing Cam because he didn’t have much around him at Auburn and carried the team. Richardson did not do that, therefore not worthy of #1 overall.
  4. 53% is abysmal for a college QB. We’re not talking about splitting hairs between high completion %
  5. Since people love this comparison, you know how many members of Cam Newton’s offense at Auburn got drafted (besides Cam)? 1. Lee Ziemba. Yet Cam still put them on his back and carried them to a national title. That’s a dude that has “it”. Richardson ain’t it.
  6. Maybe he does, but he didn’t really show it in his on-field performance. Too many questions for #1 overall when you’re comparing him to guys who you know can run an NFL offense and process.
  7. True to an extent. We do know he had a 53% completion percentage. I find it difficult to believe he applied himself as fully as say Bryce Young or CJ Stroud, especially given his immense physical talent.
  8. Not everything can be developed. There’s an “it” factor that some guys have that I don’t think Richardson has. You can’t teach him to love film and eat and breathe football and be a perfectionist of his craft, that’s something that comes from within.
  9. Lol we’ll probably end up with pick 7 or something even with the 4th worst record.
  10. Really trying to give Clifford the credit for this? I mean, they only had to trade Plumlee to force Cliff to play Williams.
  11. Panthers moved on from TD, not the other way around. Same with Cam who you mentioned in your previous post. Be mad at the organization not the player. In fact, the release of Cam was the first of many blunders by that dipshit Rhule. Should have let him play out the last year of his contract for just $20m. If he still had “it” and his shoulder was good, great we still have a franchise QB. If not, great we might have been in a position to draft one in 2021 or possibly been more open to trading up for Justin Herbert since we wouldn’t have signed Bridgewater, or maybe have taken a harder look at Jalen Hurts.
  12. I’m past it, down the road, around the corner, up the hill, and parked in the driveway.
  13. The 133m was just the guaranteed portion. It was 5yrs 250m with 133m guaranteed. He wanted like 240m fully guaranteed. He’s an idiot.
  14. Lol so you think Baltimore was going to match more than what they already offered him? Or do you think he’s now willing to take less money and wants to force Baltimore not to match, even though he has said the reason he is requesting the trade is because Baltimore isn’t offering him enough money? He’s an idiot.
  15. I’m confused, does he not realize he’s been available for trade for a while now? I don’t feel bad for him and hope nobody caves to his ridiculous demands like the Browns did with Watson. Imagine turning down an offer that would have made you the highest paid in the league at the time, over $50m/year and over half of it guaranteed. Oh no, the team might cut you in the final year if you’re not performing and you don’t see $20m or some bs? Boo fugging hoo. Pure greed and sheer idiocy.
  16. According to this movie’s logic that would lead to the Texans calling us and being all flustered like “Omg, what do you know that we don’t!?” And they’ll proceed to trade us pick #2 for nothing because they are scared lol.
  17. We’ve seen what it looks like when Fitt aggressively pursues a player/draft pick. The Carr “interest” seemed to be more along the lines of kicking the tires and due diligence. He’s said all along his ideal is to draft and develop a QB.
  18. Yeah I get that part of it, that’s what makes it so cringey.
  19. Oof, these are so cringe. He’s not interviewing for a 30k/yr salaried desk jockey position. But hey, at least he didn’t include some dumb question about his emotional intelligence like he did Stroud.
  20. How is Vick great, and 3 hofers (Manning, Rivers, Ben) are just good? I haven’t made it past that tbh, just glad this isn’t somebody trying to be a total wet blanket.
  21. Levis: “I’ll have the 40 day dry aged tomahawk ribeye.” Tepper: “Haha, that’s funny Will. He’ll have the chicken cutlet.”
  22. Lol somebody wrote that about Hillary Clinton? Man that was a wild time.
  23. It’s clearly a style of play and skills issue, not just size. Sure, if Cam was Young’s size and played the way he played, he probably would have gotten injured more. Young does not play the way Cam played, and he is much better at manipulating the pocket. Cam was one of those stand tall and deliver the ball even if you take the hit QBs. A lot of the bigger QBs seem like they take more big hits than necessary just because they know they can. Maybe it’s just as valuable to have a smaller QB who avoids the big hits because he knows he can’t take them. Look at how he plays, not his size. If he’s taking too many big hits, that’s a problem no matter how big he is.
