But then toughs it out and plays through it and becomes a hero

I hope he gets injured.

nice signing

I wouldn't worry about that from what I am hearing.
We will find out come may though.
Lordy mercy that's good to hear. When someone who clearly is awful stays the starter until the coach's hand is forced by injury, it's always uncomfortable wondering if they'll be put back in when they're healthy.

I still worry Amini will be handed the starting job, I can't imagine him being cut.

I think all are gone except Tolbert. We should try trading him, but I think if we keep him this is his last year. Too many more important positions on a football team other than paying big money to a FB.
He's prime trade material, tbh. Could be a huge contributor to someone who needs an RB and would save us over 2 mil. We probably wouldn't be able to get more than a 6th, at best a 5th though.

If we sign Jennings, Cotchery is so gone.

It would be funny if he replied, "I guess. Don't really give a poo honestly." What else is he gonna say when a reporter specifically asks that question?

I like a lot of cats on here. Good crew of dudes (and a few ladies).
As for me, I'm best known as the autistic (yes, I am autistic), negative, questionable-troll who thinks he's better than most everyone, criticizes the team more than he praises them, doesn't care to waste time in thread flame wars, is a huge realist and is so far from a homer it's not even funny, has been to 70+ games and will always love the team even though he's far far away from them, and though he's a jerk ... he's actually a pretty decent dude once you get to know him.
Or so I've been told.
I generally appreciate your posts

YAC is really not the main thing you look for in a WR. It's nice to have, but getting open and catching are more important.

If I recall correctly, we have 11 million, but we want to keep a cushion of around 7 million.
Should there be a need, other moves could be made to clear cap space.
The idea is to plug holes so that we can take whoever is the best player available.
That would still include the possibility of a receiver.
Well 5 of it is reserved for the rookies, eh? So if we're cushioning 7 million, and 5 million is taken already, then that doesn't leave very much.
-
Remember that we currently have 4 mil in cap space and may not be able to match what he wants to be paid this year. He had a 7 mil cap hit last year, and 5 mil in 2013.
Maybe we can talk him into a 2 year deal where he only counts 2 or less against the cap in 2015, and maybe 4-5 in 2016. If not then it may just end up as a visit and that's all.

btw did they ever hand out the fine and suspensions for the Seahawks' steroid rage attacks after they lost?

It was Colts fueled bullshit.

kugbila, barner, gaffney
Mostly terrible examples. Someone getting injured or stolen by another team doesn't make them a bad pick.
Barner is the only one of those 3 that an argument could be made about. He had lots of talent but was just too small for the NFL.

Dear God please go to the Bucs. He would be in prison within a year with the way they can't handle their players.
-
apparently you don't understand what "on average" means
In other words it an "average" in this case means absolutely nothing. The shitty teams who sign FAs suck, the good teams who sign them are good.
Some people would like us to be a good team who signs free agents.

Ughhhh. This is the only guy I wanted.
-
He's an utter waste of a roster spot.
-
Could be because we just signed Michael Oher to protect him and then basically announced he'll have no competition for the job.

Will our cap wealth next season change Gettleman?

I'm sure he realizes that the teams with the most cap space are almost always losers. But we also won't have all that much after all the re-signings we need to do.
