Cam isn't the type to pull s--t like this.
Reminder: The Panthers were busted illegally tampering with footballs last season.

He'll be a Dolphin. I predicted it for Jennings and I predict it for Collins.

The Basic Bitches.
That's my nickname for people who nickname players

Stop getting your chests tense and hearts thumping for this possibility. He'll probably sign to be a 3rd stringer on the Saints or Cowboys.
-
It would be incredible if we got him, but my hopes are very down

most annoying highlight video ever
"He just keeps saying "We dem boys" over and over, I miss the days when music meant something."

He's not 25.

Cameron Artis-Payne, who will be 23 this season, has had a curious trip to Auburn and the Southeastern Conference.

He doesn't look like the fastest guy ever, but holy crap he could make a 90 degree cut on the head of a pin.
-
Saints getting us back for taking Funchess from them.
-
What did we give up for this guy?
Our 5th and 7th. 86.8 value, received 92 value.
-
I still want that speed/playmaker at WR.
Then I'd be stoked about this draft.
I would like that, too, but even if we don't grab one we have three sub-4.4 guys already on the roster who can fill in until we do draft one.
-
I still dislike the 1st round pick but the two after it are solid picks that make us better at positions we needed to get better at.
The pick won't be popular until people see him flying around on game day. An heir for TD has been a major need for us for a couple years now, and TD-Luke-Shaq will be the best LB corps in the league by miles.
-
In true Gettleman fashion, the immediate reaction to our picks is kinda "wtf, meh, well ok that's fine" and then by the next day it's like "This guy is a genius, what a beautiful draft." At least to me. This really played out well for us. 3 starters, 3 major needs filled.
-
Even after all this I bet we still have to listen to people begging to trade down next year, and insisting that's Gettleman's philosophy too.

any chance that TJ clemmings lasts until the end of the 5th round?! haha
For him to have fallen this far, he must have been removed from people's boards completely. His injury has to be worse than we know.
-
This is just a wonderful move.
btw we got a 92 value pick and gave up a total of 86.8 value.

Values:
Pick 102 - 92
for:
Pick 121 - 52
153 - 30.2
217 - 4.6
Total 86.6

I wonder how Remmers would look on the left side.
-
Fantastic pick from the sound of it
-
Probably a defensive player.
-
ha! Traded up again
-
If I had a comp pick in the 3rd I'd use it on La'el. Free pick, might as well.

There aren't a whole lot of people on the board right now who bug my eyes out. I don't feel bad about giving up our 3rd.

If Clemmings is there in the fourth or Collins for that matter, do we take one of them?
Collins, no. Clemmings probably.
La'el Collins signs with Cowboys
in Carolina Panthers

Just like last year.
