Didn't score but there was a lot to like about that first drive.

Has had a better preseason than anyone on our roster with Blaine Gabbert throwing to him mostly.

I’d like to see Bryce get more throwing reps than Hubbard runs in the preseason.
yeah but the offense only started to gel when they started mixing in runs. if the defense is expecting Bryce to throw every down then it's just going to be pressure all day like last week.

well for some reason i had the wrong start time for the game, so had to just watch Bryce's snaps on youtube. he looked pretty sharp when he wasn't being blasted to smithereens.
miles better than Stroud's performance behind an equally shitty line.

How did Joe Burrow get hurt, he's not small like Bryce, he can handle the NFL

They should go on strike over it. If there was some specific thing injuring people at any other workplace it would get resolved.

so did everyone just get murdered on kickoffs last year?
I was incredulous about it when they first started stripping back kickoffs, but yeah, studies do show there's a wildly disproportionate amount of injuries on kickoffs.

So anybody worried about his arm strength needs to watch this. About a minute and a half in, he throws from his end zone, one a rope, to the far 40. 60-65 yard pass. Hes going to be just fine.
It was his own 40 to be fair, so 45 yard ball but you're right that arm strength is really no concern

As long as Jonathan Vilma is a commentator, he will occupy my top spot for worst of the worst. Matt Ryan will probably be fine.
nobody will ever be as bad as Ronde Barber was imo, and he was assigned to our games every time.

I just heard that stroud is not speaking to media during the minicamp - anyone know why?
He spake to them at a presser on Friday, maybe just wants to focus after that

Honestly, with Rhule still being in charge (even in a diminished capacity) I'm surprised we even got Corral.
Rhule clearly didn't believe in drafting a quarterback to start, likely because he couldn't understand the difference between a college freshman and an NFL rookie.
The way he treated Corral bore that out.
Last night I went back and watched Rhule's minicamp pressers just to compare with Reich and man, he could not have seemed less interested in Corral. Joe Person asked about how he looked on day 1 and Rhule was basically like "Too early to say, next question"

He's lying because the league would probably take away draft picks if he said "We got Mayfield so we can get the first overall pick next year."

Panther fans were notorious for saying Peppers was lazy before he was traded
they also trash Burns frequently. Saints and Falcons fans only wish they could hate the Panthers as much as Panthers fans

I know, but you probably should. You obviously get no enjoyment out of them. How could you? I mean in your eyes they just suck and are a failure of a team destined to win 3 games.
Seriously, why bother?
this was me for almost the entire Matt Rhule era. that's why i was gone from the Huddle for over a year. i didn't vibe with Rhule and i didn't like the handling of Cam so i watched Manchester City and AEW until my interest in the Panthers was rekindled.
it's literally not even a bad thing. if you're miserable in your fandom, watch another sport or get into another hobby for a while until you feel the itch again.
i know that sports fanbases like to do the "i'm the biggest fan so i'd never do that" thing but we should be more cognizant of things needlessly impacting mental health these days.

Clowney [...] would probably get more sacks than rookie DJ Johnson.
i'm legitimately not sure that's true.

I feel like Clowney would be better just because he’s better against the run.
he's not better enough against the run to be worth it considering he's considerably worse than Yannick at pass rushing. 2 sacks in 12 games last year, might as well just go with YGM at that point.
he's also constantly hurt.
