I just don't see how another year is going to make up for his lack of arm strength, size, and height. His ONE attribute that everybody prior the draft harped on was his "super processing"............and I've seen none of that since day one. With even average QB play last year, we go 11-6. Guess we have to waste yet another year figuring out what majority of Panther fans already know.

Be the reason we win games, not despite him. Majority of our wins games last year came because of a great defensive day or a historic running day, not because of Bryce. With the division on the line, he went 1-3 in the last month and had some terrible games.

I'm not either.
Solid team + trash QB = 5-7 wins every year

Don't you remember that time he turned around and signaled TD as soon as he released the ball to a guy who was WIDE ASS OPEN? I mean, that very basic ass play with an admittedly nice little celebration factor has been the highlight of his career so far.
It was so funny seeing that being replayed on social media everywhere............like the dude wasn't wide ass open...............in a meaningless game lol

I knew within two games that this dude didn't have NFL level talent and was never going be a legit starter. It was painfully obvious. It still is. The Panthers just refuse to acknowledge it.
Throwing 2 ints to Jessie Bates in his first game sealed it for me. He arm talent was pitiful since day one.
Some QBs you just know whether they have "it" or not. We knew Cam was going to be something even BEFORE his historic rookie debut. That preseason against the Bengals, when he took off for a 16 yd TD run and trucked multiple bengal defenders, you knew this kid was going to be special. There has yet to be ONE instance where you say "wow, this kid is going to be special" with Bryce.

I could see us ending up in that 5-7 win range again, while people make excuses for Bryce again, Bryce gets a contract extension because the front office feels the same way, and then we get to watch this all over for 3+ more years.

C- for Bryce? You're being VERY generous with that grade.
Bryce is 14-30 as a QB and has statistical been one of the WORST QBs in NFL HISTORY! And if not for Dowdle going on an historic tear and strong defensive showings last year, his record would be even worse.

29yrs old that's been TE1 for years

Held back by Terrible Browns QB whole career
-
Played with 2 bad rookie QBs last yr
-
Pass catching TE, good size/athlete
-
Does have an injury history though
Dude must be looking to get paid, because teams would have already signed him by now

I LOVE the King pickup
2024 UGA vs Tech: In Athens. King: 303 passing yards and 2 TDs. 110 rushing and 3 TDs. It took UGA 8 OTs to go on to win 44-42, but King was the star. That dude is tough as nails.
Dude has the heart of a lion and exactly the type of player Dan has said that he wants. I could really see him making the final roster.
I'm not gon lie, his playstyle reminds me SO MUCH of Jaxson Dart. Damn near exactly the same build too. If nothing else, I could see him being used like a Temu Taysom Hill near the goal line.

Thank God it sounds like we actually have some knowledgeable football people in the building again.

There's gonna be some sad individuals when Bryce gets extended
Of course. Extending Bryce would essentially be saying that we are not serious about winning a superbowl, which is another 5 years wasted of our lives watching a make a wish kid pretend to be an NFL QB.

This is the second year in a row of no tweeners, reaches, projects, history of injury history or WTFs from schools you’ve never heard of who may have balled out at the combine.
Big yes from me on this one. It felt like the grown folks were in charge, again.
Yep, no DJ Johnsons, Jonathan Brooks, or Jonathan Mingo picks that make you go WTF.

I'm loving the back half of this draft more than our main picks tbh

Better football player than athlete but damn his testing scores are ugly. Vertical in the 1st %. Yeesh. He does stop the run which I suspect is what will be asked of him primarily in Carolina.
I mean, if there's one score to not give af about for a DL, it's vertical.

All I will say is, imagine if we catered to Cam like we're doing with Bryce. We would have had at minimum 2 superbowls during the Cam era had we done that.

"Now you're thinking like a true NFL GM. If you give me a list of your target players and draft spot, I can make a list for you that gives you the best players available for that spot. Would you like me to do that?"

Imagine drafting yet another WR in the first round only to yet again field a bottom 10 offense

Lets blow another pick on offense for us to still put up bottom third of the league numbers.
We havent used a 1st round pick on D since 2021 its time for that to end unless a great OT drops to us.

Such a terrible move. Could have at least gotten 3 1st rounders for him.

What is he supposed to say?
This is a nothingburger. Teammates aren't going to throw their QB under the bus before training camp even starts no matter how much they suck. Us fans can though, and Bryce fuggin sucks.
