I get that, but this was something I noticed in general.

David Tepper to speak to media at noon today

Ironic, given that this is commonly what you post everytime you realize you're losing and you've got nothing else to say. -

Yeah... While I wouldn't say Rhule knows less about football than Tepper, it is probably true that his estimation of his own football prowess is likely way higher than reality. -

No...no I don't. And pretty much everybody gets that except you. -
He did actually say several times that certain inquiries were "a Scott question". If he ever referred to anything as "a Matt question" though, I missed it.

Yeah... None of that means jack sh-t. I get that you think it does, but it doesn't. The fanbase is way more than just PSL owners, and looking up stats about what people are doing with their PSLs doesn't give you any strong arguments. Likewise, consistently high-fiving yourself as if you just won every debate by posting some obscure, meaningless fact when in reality most people are just shaking their heads and rolling your eyes is delusional. You'd really be a lot better off if you'd stop fooling yourself, quit acting like you're some kind of guru and just accept that you're a casual fan with no special knowledge... exactly like the majority of people here. You've been told this plenty of times, but you refuse to listen. As long as that keeps up, people are gonna keep treating you like they do now. -

I'd actually agree. The primary things that I took away from this presser were... - Scott Fitterer may indeed have supplanted Matt Rhule as the guy with Tepper's ear - Tepper definitely seems to understand that he's not very popular among the fans - It might (might) be starting to dawn on him that he's done some stupid sh-t I will say that even if he understands nothing else, if he does at least realize that he has the lowest football IQ in the room, that's a start. -

Sure, given that most people are intellectually able to understand expressions like that. You think that by asking people to be more specific (when most understand they don't need to be) it somehow helps your argument and/or makes you look smarter. The reality is that you come off looking more and more like Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy. But that's not really a surprise -
His performance today would seem to indicate he may be starting to understand that.

I'd estimate it to be higher than your IQ, but probably still only double digits. -

Later Round QBs. Is there anyone worth a look in the Draft?
Mr. Scot replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
Speaking as someone who doesn't want any of the higher round quarterbacks, kinda hard to say yes to this. -
How will you feel if we PASS on a LT in round one…..
Mr. Scot replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
It'd tell me that they either jave someone on their radar or they believe Brady Christensen can do the job. -

What that clearly told me is that he's aware a pretty solid percentage of the fanbase thinks he's a dipsh-t. -

I said elsewhere it was hard not to come away from that presser with the impression that Fitterer has more trust than Rhule right now.

It's hard not to come away from that feeling that Scott Fitterer has more trust than Matt Rhule at this point. -
I didn't take it as a guarantee.

Honestly, I came out of it less sure about Matt Rhule. For one, it's hard not to notice Tepper talked way more about Scott Fitterer than he did Rhule. For another, while there were several "ask Scott" responses, some "ask Rock Hill" responses even, but if there was an "ask Matt" response, I missed it. -

Gotta agree. Traditionally, both head coach and GM come out to answer questions about the first draft pick once it's made. Will be interesting to see if that happens this year. -

Link here (subscription required): Beat Writer Mock Draft 2.0 Person has us trading down with the Eagles and selecting Kenny Pickett. 15. Carolina Panthers (from MIA via PHI*): Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh Joe Person: With the top three tackles off the board, the Panthers were able to trade back and potentially find a middle ground among what is said to be some differing opinions in the Carolina front office. Matt Rhule gets the most pro-ready QB in what looks like a win-now year for the former college coach (who had a commitment from Pickett at Temple). And with the 51st pick, GM Scott Fitterer should be able to get an offensive tackle with upside (like Bernhard Raimann or Tyler Smith) or a second-day center or linebacker. And David Tepper gets a QB from his alma mater. And though Fitterer and Rhule checked out Pickett’s small hands during his pro day, he’ll be playing in a warm-weather city in a division where the other teams either play indoors or in Florida. FYI: In this scenario, we also get pick #51 to use on an offensive lineman. The Eagles take Georgia pass rusher Travon Walker at the #6 pick.
