LOL what a clown
Never understood the logic of that.
I get that he's afraid of turnovers but a whole lot of touchdowns are scored that way. You're going to sacrifice those potential touchdowns just out of fear that something bad might happen?
Rhule was such a dumbsh-t

Not quite yet IMHO. We are definitely a step down without DJ so let’s see.
End of the day, pick #1 is all that matter TBH. If the rookie has it, we’ll be fine. If he doesn’t then we are who we’ve been lately.
At the end of the day, the question to ask is are we better than last year.
Won't know that for sure until the game start being played, but for now I'd say we have a good chance of it being "yes".

So much for the reports that we were not going to be very active in the first couple days of FA lol. We’ve made more signings than just about anybody so far.
I feel like that happened last year too

Indicators would say that they are...
...and frankly they should be.
There's still a lot of time between now and the draft. You'll have pro days, visits, interviews and other things to take advantage of In order to get as much information as possible on every prospect.
Do the homework. Get it right.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but there’s some truth. Dalton, Hurst and Thielin and even Jamal Williams don’t make us close to a scary offense. None of them can be the guy who can still do a lot when the D focuses on them. No matter which FA WRs we sign, there’s no one who can go against the #1 CB or be the doubled guy and perform well. DJ wasn’t elite but no FA is close to him.
They put us in position to at least be solid, which is a major step up from previous years.
At the very least, it brings us to a good foundation from which we can build a potential big winner.

Good signing. Hope it doesn't point to us drafting AR.
I don't think it points to anybody.
That's just people viewing stuff through their own goggles.

So apparently the first guy to have it was this dude...

Guess that guy yesterday was right

From Albert Breer...
I guessed it might be Baker Mayfield, it wound up being Sam Darnold, but the idea, to me, remained the same in San Francisco—bring in a guy with some upside to compete with Trey Lance until Brock Purdy gets healthy. It’ll be interesting to see Darnold in Kyle Shanahan’s quarterback-friendly offense, too. A big part of the issue with him has been that he doesn’t play fast enough, which coaches think is because he thinks too much out there.
The Niners offense, conversely, takes a lot of the mental load off the quarterback (the center makes the Mike identification calls, for example). So that should help Darnold, who’s getting $4.5 million in base pay for 2023 ($1 million of that in per-game roster bonuses), with another $7 million out there in incentives for him.

Wouldn’t mind Sanders - he is a dual threat back.
And probably the best of the prospects were discussing.
I'd still be happy if we kept Foreman though.

I wish someone would tell Rodgers he is a QB not a GM or coach so just do your job and stop trying to be.
That someone won't work for the Jets.
A few years back, Russell Wilson said he wanted to be consulted on the Seahawks draft. Looks like Rodgers is getting what Wilson wished for.

Schefter is reporting Tepper loves Young, but Reich likes Stroud.
Meanwhile Breer is reporting that Tepper likes Stroud but "the football people" prefer Young.
Tis the season

What on earth are you smoking? This is an amazing signing given the situation we are in. This guy has been around a long time, know what the means? Means he knows how to take care of himself on and off the field, knows that a good routine means everything. In other words knows what it takes to 1) Be a quarterback in this league and 2) Have a long term career. All the things I which Cam would have had when he got here. How can anyone be upset with this signing knowing we are about to draft a rookie QB. The jump from college to pros is huge! Not just in talent but MONEY / Problems / Fame. Our young QB will need someone to help mold habits that not only allow him to be successful NFL QB but a successful long term NFL QB.
He's a troll. You can ignore him.
