Why is this watermelon headed chick on my TV wasting time?
-
I am genuinely stunned by that pick. Makes me believe that we don't really love any of those pass rushers, which I do also understand. Love the player personally.
-

Huddlers, put your money where your mouth is and predict what insane thing this franchise will do this evening. I am going with the most boring and predictable thing possible, we stay at #8 and select Jalon Walker.
-
Oh we will fug it up, have no fear.
-
IDK, the draft is set up for chaos with the uncertainty.
-
I posted this poll a few days ago and rather surprisingly it was close to 50/50 on the trade or not trade. Curious to see if the mood has changed given some of the recent rumors on us being the most aggressive.
-
They can get a 3rd if he just signs elsewhere so they will want a 1st without question.
-
Yeah, I could not understand why people here thought he was viewed as more than a backup caliber player. He has never played at anything more than that level.

Panthers 1st day of voluntary workouts
kungfoodude replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would say 4-7 wins is likely the expectation. -
I think Fannin Jr. is a potential exceptional weapon for a gifted offensive HC. I don't really think that is us at all, so he generally wouldn't fit here, IMO. I do think that will dictate his career arc, finding a team that can use him correctly. He might be stiff and have a limited route tree but he is huge, has unbelievable hands and is a monster in terms of yards after contact.
-
Fannin has some limitations in that he is not a complete TE but more of a flex receiver. He also would have some limitations in terms of diversity of usage in the passing game. But the one thing he does have is overwhelmingly the best hands in this loaded TE class.
-
I swear, the dumb college homers in this forum are cancerous around draft time.
-
I mean Noel and Fannin Jr. could easily be two of our top 3 receivers on day one.

Panthers 1st day of voluntary workouts

It's lightsaber training. -
Not realistic, IMO. I would be floored with this draft.
-
I agree. It's really the principle that we got upset about for the Burns trade, less so the ignorant horseshit we would have used it on. I do think there was likely no team in the NFL willing to give up a 1st for CMC at that time.
-
Yeah, we actually got quite a haul for CMC. It's just that we squandered 100% of the resources we received in return.
-
Plus they are likely to win the trade very decisively.
-
I haven't seen much in the way of panic moves from them. They are a smart and well run organization, so it often looks alien to us.

General Draft Rumors/Speculation Thread
kungfoodude replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
TBH, I would rather be picking below 15 than in the 6-15 range. -
They are lacking a 2nd round pick for 2025 due to the Metcalf trade so I would assume the minimum to even be in any discussion would have to involve their 2026 1st. Which, TBH, they would be foolish to trade away.
