100%. A chunk of our victories over the past few years have been opponents having "those games." Hey, take em where you can get them, especially in the division. Definitely glad to see that ATL also suffers from poor coaching issues, as well. While we have been a dumpster fire, it has been nice to see most of the division also experience this fate, as well.

Eh.....I tend to disagree on the run defense but that's whatever. The thing that struck me immediately was that they DID have ample opportunities to get yards on our pass defense but Penix was so frequently off target with the ball that it was nuts. Late, behind, too high, too short, etc. He was spraying throws everywhere but where they were intended to go. I am a little reticent to give TOO much credit to our defense for that reason. They did generate a lot more pressure on the QB so that was great. It's a one game sample so I don't want to reset the expectations just yet. Hopefully it's a trend and not a statistical outlier.

The David Moore hate is, quite frankly, absurd. He is good for what he is, a 4th/5th WR that is an excellent special teams player. It's hilarious we have so many Moore detractors but then guys like XL get infinite passes.

If you give BB 3 years, he may put UNC in a 5 year hole, TBH. Also, I don't think he sticks around for 3 years. Furthermore, he had this entire charade set up as an excuse to install his son as HC. How do you imagine that will go? If UNC is smart, they will pivot as soon as that buyout is low and before there is permanent damage.

I wish had that level of optimism, but I look at this roster and that leaves me immediately. Certainly hope you are right.

I don't think what I saw was proof we have improved that much. More like we played an opponent dumber and/or worse than we were. Still are likely a 4 to 7 win team. There will be other wins. I would like to see more shelling of NFC South opponents included in that 4-7 wins.

UNC has turned their entire football program into a meme. $10 mil/yr to literally be the laughingstock of all of college sports. I am gonna be honest, I saw that coming the whole way. You scrounge up that kind of coin and you get a 73 year old guy that had NEVER coached at the college level??? Then the nepo hires and other people that were NFL unemployed or unemployable?? I mean....what in the actual fug??? I am guessing even at that price tag they couldn't get any legit interest from top coaching candidates. That's the only thing that excuses the decision making that seemed to follow. What am insane end to BB's career.

Not equating the two, just saying they aren't clicking, like XL isn't. XL's issues are almost all self created. Not sure what to think of HR and Bryce. They don't seem very compatible early. AT and Bryce clicked VERY early on, so I am worried Renfrow just isn't a good fit with this offense.

I am just saying that the performances one the field need to be the thing that defines you. The being a funny social media guy is substantially less important, IMO.

I haven't seen much indication of a connection yet. He isn't lacking for targets. as he is the 2nd most targeted receiver on the team so far. He does have the 3rd highest QB Rating on targets, though. Behind only Chuba and Evans.

That's where missing AT is getting us. Renfrow just isn't maling these catches. TBH, I would start some combination of TMac, Coker and Stephens when Coker returns. I think that is the best combo we have.

Outside XL, he has definitely been our 2nd least effective WR. Either way, if he can't make a bigger impact(for whatever reasons), I would say Coker, Tremayne have shown more reasons to get the PT. So far, anyway.

The backup S thing told me what a POS he was. I suspect he will not be in the NFL much longer after he gets fired this season.

Most of that had nothing to do with rushing. It was their insistence to stop doing so. I don't think they had a single negative or zero RB rush, correct?

Renfrow has terrible chemistry with Bryce. Not sure what is up with that.
