  1. I don't think you sit a top 10 OT for a year. I would assume someone is getting moved if they make that decision.
  2. I would say center is a weak link, for sure. Unless we draft a guy.
  3. Fair point. Hence why as upset as people were about a theoretical trade for Higgins, at least it would have removed us from likely fuging up another WR evaluation again.
  4. It's interesting to see this poll so closely. I honestly figured most were pessimistic about the odds of this.
  5. I would be fuging floored if we did that deal.
  6. Yeah, we focus on gambling on these project #1 WR types versus the obviously better and more productive players.
  7. I somewhat suspect the trading action from 11-20 will be considerably more than 1-10.
  8. To be clear, this could be up or down. Just want to see what the Huddle thinks we will actually end up doing on Thursday.
  9. Yeah, this WR class has some very good candidates to be productive NFL WR's, if not many candidates to be NFL stars. Currently, the only truly consistent and productive WR we have had since the Moore trade is AT. One would think we would eventually attempt to remedy that.
  10. But what you are describing is being a petty bitch, even if that were true. Again, making him the smaller man. All scenarios here are that Daboll is the asshole. Literally 100%
  11. I am not sure really the scenario where that isn't an insane D-bag move. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to play for him after that.
  12. The making him a scout team safety after he was benched the last time. There is no reason for that. It's extremely disrespectful
  13. I actually think Daboll is a bad coach. The way he handled the Jones thing was pathetic.
  14. That doesn't sound like a theory rooted in the short term futures of their GM and HC. I doubt they survive to see the end of that plan.
  15. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44723519/saints-ryan-ramczyk-retires-7-seasons-incredible-journey Saints might dip at OT instead of QB at this rate.
  16. I think there are far more sellers in the top 15 than buyers outside it.
  17. You are aware that he has the same general 40 time as guys like Mike Evans and DeAndre Hopkins, right? 4.5-4.6 is about what you expect for most of those big WR's. People think they are going to be Calvin Johnson or DK Metcalf but there is a reason those guys stand out, they are outliers.
  18. I don't necessarily agree on the "BPA" element but I would not be upset about drafting him at 8. I also wouldn't be jumping for joy. I generally believe he will end up being a very poor fit with Evero's defense.
  19. Yeah, I don't see him really becoming more than "slightly above average" at LT. It's possible because he is a high ceiling player but those guys rarely ever come close to that potential for us. Also, if he doesn't really make a big leap next season, there isn't a ton of precedent for that all of a suddenly happening after 4 years of being a starter. I do think that people are potentially not considering this fact when they talk about why he hasn't been extended yet. Not doing that does allow the team to pivot to him being an OG or RT if need be and have a completely different contract potential.
  20. I remember this having a lot more traditional media outlets a long time ago. That list of sources is lacking.
  21. IDK. He has never played RT and as former OL have often said, sometimes that isn't the seamless transition that fans always believe it will be. I am okay with him at whatever position he is the most dominant at, LT, RT, OG, whatever.
  22. I don't think they ruined him. He wasn't an NFL player. He never was.
  23. Lower floors than AR as a prospect. Now AR's floor is closer to JaMarcus Russell than it is Allen/Newton, IMO.
