  1. I'm not taking it personally. I don't really concern myself much with most players that are not on our team.
  2. Yeah, and if the Rams do not win it all in the next year or 2 they are going to be a hot mess. They don't have a first round pick for like the next 10 years and they have a lot of vets on big contracts. Its now or never for them. Their window is firmly open for the next couple of years, but after that things could get rough for them.
  3. Yeah? Well fug him too. We don't need him anyways. We're all aboard the GEQBUS train here.
  4. Yes it would! 36 is a lot, would be a team record...BUT I can see Sam having 25-30 TDs this year. I really am expecting a huge season from this offense.
  5. I find it very hard to believe that there are only 2 teams with worse rosters than us. Thats absurd.
  6. OK. Go back and reread my post. Like I said, I guess you are right and I am wrong. Does that make you happy? I can admit when I am wrong. And it doesn't really matter one way or another.
  7. 8 million dollar base salary. 8 million dollar signing bonus, spread out over 2 years of the contract, for a 12 million dollar cap hit prior to his new deal yesterday. Im not professing to being a contract or cap expert. So I guess you're right. I'm wrong. All I know is that they were saying yesterday at the time he signed it that his salary went from 8 mil this year to 12.5, as they added 4.5 to his salary this year. Nowhere was it mentioned that his salary would be anywhere close to 16 mil this year. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/robby-anderson-19352/
  8. His cap hit was not 12 mil before yesterday. It was 8. They added 4.5 to that to bring it to 12.5
  9. Robby doesnt have a cap hit over 13 million for any of the next 3 years. 12or 12.5 this year (can't remember) 13 next year 12 the following year.
  10. Yeah, I get it. Personally I start every season optimistic until I am given reason not to be by their play on the field in actual games that count.
  11. We got a fuging squad people. Everyone being a Debbie Downer must have a miserable life at home. This is the youngest, most talented Panthers team we’ve had since at least 2015. Just stop over analyzing and enjoy the ride. Personally I think we’re gonna shock the world this year. Let’s fuging get it!!
  12. This is the Matt Rhule way. Year 1 - lose, but look good and be competitive in most all games Year 2 - vastly improved. Almost there, but still some growing pains. Year 3 - Go Time. poo gets real and we start challenging for titles and championships.
  13. We can sign both Reddick and Moore when the time comes. If it comes to that. This is a good problem to have.
  14. I said nothing of the sort. I’m just saying there is A LOT of opportunity for yards and TDs in this years offense.
  15. Sure, why not? You cannot compare the situation Sam was in last year with what we have going this year. There was not 1 WR or back on their team that’s as good as our WR3. Joe Brady vs Adam Gase is a joke. I guess we all just have to see how it plays out. But you are so dead set on Sam sucking before he’s even thrown 1 pass for us. Last year was his only really bad season and that entire team was in tank mode and quit on their head coach.
  16. Dude Teddy almost threw for 4000 last year. There is 1 extra game this year as well. A competent QB LAST YEAR would have thrown for 4500+ yards and 30+ TDs. It’s absolutely within the realm of possibilities that Sam could go for close to 4500.
  17. I highly, highly, highly doubt they made this extension today thinking that they do not intend to also extend DJ. That makes no sense to me. DJ is the younger, more dynamic talent, and he was drafted here. I imagine this time next year they will also extend DJ much like they’ve extended CMC and Moton and now Robby.
  18. OK. Let me break it down for you. We currently have almost 25 million in cap space for 2021. Robby's new deal adds 4 million to his salary this year. So, lets say that takes us to 20. I have no idea if we make any more big signings this year or not. For conversations sake, lets say we don't. So we roll that 20 mil into next year, of which we now have 35 million. So, that leaves us at 55 million in cap space for next year. Robbys next deal is for 13 mil next year. That takes us to 42 million in cap space as we sit today. The following year we currently have 155 million in cap space. Take away the 12 guaranteed to Robby and that leaves us at 143 million.
  19. DJ likely will not be signed until hes into his 5th option year, and that will leave us with only 1 year left on Robby's deal, and will also be the year where we have a ton of cap space. So, it will not be that impactful, IMO.
  20. No I have not seen that mentioned yet. Can be TOO much as the entire guaranteed money is only 20 mil.
