Bro what do you want? TH is prolly one of the best college football players we’ve ever seen. And you mad our new pick didnt dominate him? lol

This is a top 10 pick, not some mid rounder. Dominate him, no, but he should be winning his fair share of those snaps. Being completely blanket covered anytime he's lined up against TH and producing 15 yards, for a #8 overall player? Yikes.

Oh, the previous year when he had 9 catches for 107 yards in the game, while catching (I believe, again, not trying to re-research it at this point) 3 of the 5 targets he had while Hunter was covering him, including a 1 on 1 red zone matchup where T-Mac created separation in a short space and made a nasty catch for the Touchdown, oh and not to mention also drawing a PI call on Hunter in coverage as well?

Yea, what a bum we just drafted.

Most of those stats came against significantly weaker players, exactly like I said. Despite the fact that TH covered him more than anyone else, he had only 3 catches for 15 yards against TH. Yes, one of those catches was a TD, on a absolutely perfect pass in a super tiny window because TMac couldn't actually get separation.

Hunter came into the game hurt, played sparingly in the 1st half and then didn't play a single snap in the 2nd half, literally not one and if I remember correctly, he had even changed into street clothes at halftime so he wasn't even dressed in the 2nd half.

Yeah that's why he was able to notch a whopping 5 catches for 38 yards, instead of the 15 yards he did the previous year when TH was healthy. I did notice TH wasn't on him for most of the game BTW, but doesn't change anything I said.

  4. Out of all the top prospects I looked into heavily, he was the one I wanted the least. Just looks so slow overall. Slow off the line. Slow straight line speed. Slow out of breaks. Struggles to get open against any halfway decent competition.

Reality is that he put up huge numbers vs bottom tier garbage competition - guys who are not even on the NFL radar and will end up selling car insurance. Whenever he went up against potential NFL talent, he couldn't get open.

Twice against Travis Hunter, 2023 15 yards, 2024 38 yards - and go back and watch the games (if you want), he could not get open AT ALL. Was completely blanket covered all game long. That's what you're going to be getting in the NFL, no insurance salesmen to beat up on anymore. Probably best case scenario he ends up a mid-tier forgettable JAG type WR. Really low ceiling for a top 10 pick.

I'm honestly not even sure if I would have used a 2nd rounder on him much less #8 overall.

Pretty wild to see folks dunking on Josh Allen when he threw a catchable ball past the sticks on an absolute jailbreak of a blitz where his OL looked like they'd been blindfolded and had their hands tied behind their backs.

Yeah, I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do on that play. He had like 5 guys in his face immediately seemingly untouched, nobody open down field and still managed to put it in a spot where his guy had a chance to make a play, even hit the receiver in the hands. Somehow he needs to do even more than that?

or, you know, they made the call they thought they saw on the field

Just because it went one way, doesn't mean there was bias involved, not everything is some big conspiracy theory

so they both saw it, and didn't see it

lmao ok dude, no changing your mind

Neither ref could actually see the ball, we literally couldn't even see the ball on the camera angle down the line that is like 10 feet in the air, because there were too many bodies in the way.

Do you really think the 5'8" ref standing on the field is going to be able to see that ball with all those 6'5" linemen surrounding the play like that?!?!?!

Want to argue for chips in the ball all you want, but there was nothing different in that play than any other spotting of the ball in every single NFL game, it wasn't the refs giving anything to KC, you just sound crazy saying things like that.

The refs not actually seeing a play but making a call in favor of one team is the very definition of bias.

Just gotta wait another 10 years until the Teppers gtfo

10 years is pretty optimistic, with the level of healthcare that billionaires get he could easily be around for another 30

I still think the NFL has major favoritism. As long as they like BY9, we might be ok in Carolina

I watched maybe 6 or 7 Chiefs games during the regular season and they were ALL ridiculous biased in favour of KC. The Carolina game funny enough was the only one that I felt was actually fair overall.

I don't believe they outright rig games, but they do tolerate the refs with a wink and a smile

It's more of a "thumb on the scale" type of situation, not outright rigging. But man, that thumb has been really, really heavy for the Chiefs this season.

  11. lmao the one ref was going to just gift them the 1st, the other ref actually did their job and spotted it correctly, so of course there's some little ref huddle up "hey buddy, we don't do that here"

Nah man, it's overblown. This is a completely legitimate league with absolutely no favoritism in the name of ratings, celebrity appeal, or amount of bandwagon support.

It's not like the NFL is a business and converting a billion Taylor Swift fans to fans/customers would net them a huge amount of money. Yeah, what was I thinking.
