It's because he has zero work ethic and spends every offseason playing video games, binging Netflix and chilling with his buddies. A light 20 minute workout every morning is the extent of this guys offseason training regiment.

Round 1: The Carolina Panthers select OT Monroe Freeling (Georgia)
R0CKnR0LLA replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
OT is probably the teams biggest need moving forward. Moton on his last legs, gonna be gone soon. Ickey's injury is really nasty and has a very low success rate. Most likely he never returns to form 100%. Walker is just a one year band-aid. In today's NFL you need two good OTs and they have ZERO long term answers. If Bryce flames out, then you're forced to use the 1st next year on a QB (and possibly 2nd rounder to trade up). And then what? You drop your new top pick QB in behind an OLine with zero OTs, two aging guards and whoever ends up playing center? Total disaster. Given that Freeling was considered a top 15 pick by most, easy decision here. Not flashy or exciting but it's the right move. -
Finally! Draft day is here. (NFL Draft Round 1 Live thread)

Every year the Jets end up perfectly positioned in the draft. Everything falls into place to where they could easily come away with a kings ransom. And every year they fug it up. -

2025 Draft Re-Grades (Or, One Idiot Doubles Down)
R0CKnR0LLA replied to Joe Bear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Former GMs have admitted to leaking information like this about players they really wanted. You've got a guy that put up crazy numbers AND looks great on tape AND has all the measurables. You really want him, but you're not picking that high, and you know he's not making it to your pick. So you leak stories about his "work ethic" or "character concerns" and hope teams ahead of you buy it and pass on him. Literally former GMs have admitted to doing this in the past... so there's that. Not saying that's what happened here 100%, but it's at least a possibility. And Dallas (and I think at least one other team) were going crazy trying to trade up into our spot when we were on the clock, and it was specifically to get TMac. -
2025 Draft Re-Grades (Or, One Idiot Doubles Down)
R0CKnR0LLA replied to Joe Bear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imagine giving the OROY a C. I've seen some bad takes on the internet but this goes full retard. Yeah, he just "by default" beat out every other offensive player in the entire draft. With Bryce Young as his QB no less. -

Both of your early picks are luxury picks... for a team that absolutely cannot afford to be making luxury picks. -

I've watched him throw the ball away on 4th down. Are we really surprised cherry picked stats look good when he outright refuses to throw into tight windows, something literally every other QB in the NFL does. It's like saying someone in the NBA is a great shooter because of their field goal percentage - nevermind that they ONLY shoot wide open layups, refuse to shoot otherwise and average 5 points a game. Zoom out and look at big picture metrics, the complete story looks alot different - 27th in scoring (despite an above average supporting cast), 32nd in yards-per-attempt, 30th in yards-per-game.

Who is going to take a shot at Malik Willis
R0CKnR0LLA replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
We really should look into him heavily and see if he's worth taking a chance on. But it's the Panthers. They're dumb, so they won't. Stuck with the midget for another season. -
In other news, Nick Mullens is the most accurate QB in the NFL... he has 100% completion percentage!!!!! (don't pay attention to the fact that he only attempted 3 passes)

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)

Dude is sandwiched between Blaine Gabbert and Joey Harrington and people are debating whether to only pick up a $26 mill option, or if we should go ahead and give him a multi-year extension -

Daniel Jeremiah 2026 NFL mock draft 1.0
R0CKnR0LLA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We have one of the best young WR duos in the league with TMac and Coker. Could use a solid vet #3 option, but that's not terribly hard to find. You could make the argument that every other part of the roster needs long term upgrades before WR. OT - Icky injured, Moton aging, big question mark moving forward here Interior OLine - OG is great but center position is a big question mark, with injuries stacking up on Corbett and BC, and Mays being a free agent (could definitely change though if we re-sign Mays) RB - Dowdle most certainly gone, not suggesting spending a 1st on RB but still, need a replacement here TE - Meh overall, basically have three guys who are backup #2 level TEs, could use a top end starter QB - lol LBer - horrible group, definitely needs upgrades Secondary - Mike Jackson could be playing himself out of our price range and 100% could use a new FS Edge - Scourton looks promising long term but need more here in this unit, obvious weak spot DT - Brown is a beast, but outside of him very thin WR is the ONE position on the entire roster where we're actually looking great moving forward lol TLDR --> this mock is retarded
