Lmao. SportsNet was so confused that they actually called one on them that they announced it as a Carolina penalty!

Honestly dont think ive ever seen Rod's face that red!

Ofc ott is on the pp again!

Hopeful Blake is nothing serious...

I know he didn't have to work hard for it but that was a huge save by Freddie. A shorty by Stutzle would've blown the roof off that building!

The SportsNet announcers are worse. We're basically sizzling in their pants over the dirty hit on Nikki.

Are you fuging shitting me?!? Ottawa comes away with a PP!

Aho looked better. You can credit OTT'S D, but outside of Svech laying the wood and firing one timers, our top line has been MIA.

2 hits, 2:47 TOI CareBear keeping up his HPM (hit per minute) pace this postseason.

The 2nd half was better but I think that mightve just been bc OTT's killers were tired af.

Forwards Svechnikov (37) - Aho (20) - Jarvis (24) Hall (71) - Stankoven (22) - Blake (53) Deslauriers (44) - Staal (11) - Martinook (48) Carrier (28) - Jankowski (77) - Robinson (50) Defense Slavin (74) - Chatfield (5) Miller (19) - Walker (26) Nikishin (21) - Gostisbehere (4) Goalies Andersen (31) --- Id rather see Bussi in net. Freddie has been great, but we know his body cant hold up starting every game in a playoff run.

Canes vs Sens Round 1 Game 3 7:30pm

Some national praise for Stankonia this fine morning... NHL playoff breakouts: 6 players opening eyes with their postseason performance Stankoven had an absolutely dominant Game 1 against Ottawa. At five-on-five, the team went up 19-5 in shot attempts, 2-0 in scoring, and earned a 93 percent xG rate in his minutes. Stankoven’s seven shot attempts and overall efforts helped contribute to 2.17 of the Canes’ 3.16 expected goals at five-on-five. ... After earning two primary points on the Canes’ goals on Saturday, he saved a goal in Game 2 that almost slipped over the line (and likely would have changed the tone of the game early), and added another of his own. 15 early takes from Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs 5. Stankoven’s a dawg The Hurricanes have a lot of dawgs — Martinook is one too — but Logan Stankoven deserves the title in his own way. Three goals through two games, not afraid of the moment, and his line with Taylor Hall and Jackson Blake is relentless. They’ve got an expected goal rate around 75 per cent at 5-on-5 so far. ***Bonus Round*** 4. Tkachuk has to settle into the moment Last Ottawa thought is that they’ve got lots of guys going. Tim Stutzle is all over it, Drake Batherson, Ridly Greig, these guys should’ve scored more than they have, but it’s like there’s a forcefield at the net. However, Brady Tkachuk hasn’t been on the ice for a goal for yet, and to me, it’s because he’s just so damn over-eager. He looks like he’s in a fist-fight with the puck out there and it’s blowing up on his stick way too often. He needs the opposite of smelling salts pre-game. He needs a chai tea and a fiction novel in the dressing room. He’s one of the rare guys you’d like to see calm down, rather than rev up.
