  1. Reimers numbers look virtually identical through his first 4 starts... 3-1-0 3.25 gaa .899 sv% Ned's first 4 for comparison... 2-2-0 2.00 gaa .922 sv% Reimer looks more comfortable out there. But, he should, he's a 10 year vet. Ned looks nervous or unsure at times and that scares a lot of fans. In the playoffs, that can bleed into your teammates as well. I think he will settle down eventually. But, his numbers shows he belongs in the big leagues.
  2. Said it after game 2, Tampa is treating this like a playoff series. They are playing like they know the refs have already swallowed their whistles. In a war of attrition the more physical team wins in the end.
  3. He's also... 8-2-0 this season with 3.08 goals against and a .896 save percentage. 0 shutouts. Actually has a better win percentage than in their time frame. But, everything else looks worse. Everybody hates on Ned despite Optimus having worse numbers.
  4. Just picture this... With the egg timer ticking beside him. Lmao
  5. Please let them pick this logo... I can't unsee it.
  6. Liability is probably an overreaction. He just doesn't look like the Dougie we've come to know. His offense was a huge part off his game. I don't know if he's not seeing things as well or if he's not as confident in his shot anymore.
  7. Hate to say it but, Dougie is starting to look like a liability on the ice.
  8. We are going to have to learn how to play dirty grimy hockey. There's been a ton of missed calls in this series. But, if they aren't gonna call it, you have to adjust. We look beat the hell up out there. If we let ateam do this to us in the playoffs we'll be one and done.
  9. They are going to have more shots on this PP than we're are, aren't they?
  10. Just looked and saw RBAs comments yesterday. Hopefully he'll have the stick back in his hand soon. I'm glad they are going to let take as long as he needs, though.
  11. He's been skating for at last a week or so. From what I understand, teams have to carry a goalie on the taxi squad. I don't think we'd send Bibeau down unless Petr was already stick handling.
  12. Mods, can we change the name of this thread to "No true blockbuster fallacy"
  13. You literally did not define any of your parameters. It is like asking "Is Taylor Swift is a rock star?" -Yes, she's sold more records than the Beatles. -No, her music is terrible. -She doesn't even play "rock music." -Well, she's bedded more celebrities than anyone can count. She must be somewhere between Wilt Chamberlain and Tommy Lee. Unless you define "rock star," in at least some concrete terms, then any of these answers could be right or wrong. You clearly have an opinion. But, rather than stating it, you phrased it as a question that you can refute any answer to in order to suit your agenda. And then resorted to attacking peoples' "critical thinking" ability when you got called on it.
  14. RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has reassigned goaltender Antoine Bibeau to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL). https://www.nhl.com/hurricanes/news/canes-reassign-antoine-bibeau-to-chicago/c-321723284 I would assume that means Mrazek will be back soon. I'd imagine he'll be traveling with the team to Tampa. We might not see him in the net for a little bit. But, with Bibeau back in CHI, Petr must be healthy enough to be our emergency 3rd.
  15. Which is exactly why the Miller Test was developed. To set parameters so that an objective question can have subjective answers.
