SOOOO many people on this site were adamant he wasn't a #1 WR lol

I dont know about 'SOOO" many, probably more like 1-2 vocal people.  Many people here, myself included were upset that we traded him. I actually dont even recall anyone saying he wasnt a #1 WR.

Harbaugh can't just jump ship to the NFL that easily. When the NCAA hands down sanctions against Harbaugh, it will likely be honored by the NFL as well. We certainly don't want someone with these dark clouds hanging over his head whose availability is up in the air.

NFL isnt gonna give a flying fug about NCAA sanctions, they never have and never will.

I do want us to get Harbaugh, but he isn’t coming here

I wish the Broncos the worst and only the worst. I hope they don't see the playoffs for more than a decade.

Still mad about our first game after the Super Bowl. I wish nothing but an unholy level of the bad luck greater than the combined bad luck of the browns and the lions upon them for that. They deserve it!

  4. Not trying to clip this narrative too much, Scott has done plenty to deserve to be fired and hopefully will be.

the reason nobody was interested in Lamar was because nobody believed he was actually gonna leave the Ravens, and didn’t bother wasting time to negotiate.

Jackson not coming to Carolina really isn’t his fault, because it was never gonna happen to begin with.

trading McCaffrey for peanuts tho is reason enough to fire him, not counting his other blunders

  5. Probably at the end of the season. Not much reason to fire a GM right now, because you can’t hire anyone at the moment and will only have a vacant spot.

The billion dollar question I want answered is who picked Bryce Young over CJ Stroud? If it really was Tepper meddling, ain’t much we can do, but anyone associated with this decision deserves to be fired.

  6. Just figured I’d throw this out there for the Halo fans in the crowed! There is plenty of content and game modes finally. A ton to do, and a lot of fun.

They’re also releasing a free 20 level battle pass today and if you do the other battle passes in reverse order 5-1. You can actually do them all for only buying one if you save the credits.

  7. Whoever decided Young over Stroud needs to be fired. If it’s Tepper he needs to come out and apologize to the fans.

I said it the entire time pre-draft that it should be Stroud and it’s not even close. I still think it was never close imo.

I was right there with you. I'm a Penn State alumni and fan. It felt like fate that he'd be there shortly after Luke's retirement and I was surprised they passed him up. as @pantherclaw said above, it's a moot point now. And Horn does look like he could be a lockdown guy. Unfortunately, he's had terrible stretch of luck with injuries. Nobody could've predicted that. Let's hope the injury bug is done with him after this.

That was my take after Luke retired. The top rated LB’er of the draft was sitting there for us from LB U and we went with a luxery pick? Was so stupid imo at the time. Top tier LB’ers are far more versatile and valuable to me than a CB. Shut down corners are nice, but they’re luxuries not necessities.

Hey Doc, you can say anything you want. Free country. Not sure what it means to still be saying that at this point though.  Just being Honest.

Means I was right and some people need to eat crow. That’s all. Not witch hunting and naming names but they probably know who they were. Just saying

  10. Is it ok for me to point out that I was pissed that we drafted Horn over Parsons? Or to point out many on here told me in many ways how stupid I was for saying that.

(in fair disclosure it was because I thought Parsons would be the better overall player not that I expected Horn to be bad or injury prone)

Until you look at the teams that can actually move the ball...Hurts, Tua, even Allen were all "in question" until AJ Brown, Tyreek Hill, and Steffon Diggs were traded for.

Look at how PHI got where they are, almost all trades and trade backs (Carter) .

Standing pat, hoping something falls isn't the way, there has to be some aggressiveness. It's clear we need a WR. How we get on remains to be seen.

And no DJ Moore is not in those guys category mentioned above. However one of his talent would likely be enough so long as they continue to invest in the offense as a whole.

Name a trade in the last 5 years that hasn’t bit us in the ass. I dare you!

Burns would never garner 2 1st's. That is an insane price for someone like him. That was a once in a lifetime haul that we will never see again.

The reality is that we might get a first rounder for him if we are lucky. Has nothing to do with his talent level. His contract is ending and he wants a fuging pile of money(literally driven by the haul we turned down for him). All anyone has to do is wait it out. He'll either be moved due to holding out in the next couple of seasons or he'll be a free agent.

100% of our leverage with him and on the trade market is gone. We mis-played our hand and now every player at the table sees our cards.

Never? We were offered that and more last year.

leverage is still completely there, you’re acting like the franchise tag doesn’t exist man

We won’t get the value now, but not trading him last year for 2 1sts and pick 36 was the big mistake. We should have prioritized weapons for a QB that we knew we’d be taking in this past draft. Signing a $30M a year edge rusher was not smart for the future instead of building around the QB.

We can probably still get 2 firsts if we wanted to. Market is always there for top end edge rushers. I know there was the Ravens 1st and a 3rd talk a week or so ago, but that was an overly optimistic Ravens site I think. Which would be an absolutely terrible gage for actual value

my guess is Burns is still at least two 1sts at least right now
