I'm thankful for what he gave this team but I am not sad to see him cut. Actually, I am more excited about the future of this team.

    The kid is a rare talent but he comes with too many red flags. Carolina has one of the strongest locker rooms in the NFL. Will that be enough to influence this kid back on to the straight and narrow? No idea. Is it worth risking a #1 pick on, I would say no. Carolina doesn't really need any more set backs.

    JR didnt tolerate Smith. Smith was family. Smith help put this team on the map and was its first real franchise player. We all have people in our families like smith, doesnt mean we outcast them.
