I am more interested in seeing Chargers-Raiders, but a 10pm-ish Eastern kickoff is a lot to ask on a Monday night.

Reminds me of however many years ago it was when the first Monday Night game of the season was always a double header, and the west coast game was usually the Raiders back when they were in Oakland and sucked as bad as we do now.  Hard to justify staying up til 1:30 eastern time for that.

We aren't winning anything with this defense with Jameis throwing for 300 yards with 2 TDs and 3 INTs but it would at least give us a better ability to evaluate our other offensive positions.

Yeah he'd be chucking it all over the yard and force feeding it to Legette and TMac.  I'd rather see that and still be trash than what we have now.

Random but something I find interesting: the outlook on Bryce on X/Twitter is a lot more positive than here. A lot of talk about still believing in him and this game wasn’t his fault etc. I wonder why that on here it is more negative and X it’s more positive?  Anyway, didn’t mean to derail the thread.

We're all old and have seen this bullshit before

    All. Day. Long.

I’ll say it again. Wilks was the PERFECT ‘bridge’ prove it 1 year deal, coach. It jell’ed so well. Let him bring back dignity….  but we can’t have nice things.

Taking it to the Lions in the coldest game in the history of BOA was the literal high point of the Tepper era.  We had an identity, and it was that we're going to line up and run the ball down your throat.  It was nothing fancy but the team clearly loved Steve Wilks and played hard for him.

  5. I turned the game off and took a nap at the start of the weather delay.  After that first INT I knew it was over.  I woke up around 4 or something, turned the game back on, was not surprised in the slightest, and then turned it back off.

We're the Browns or Lions of the 2000s now.  Multiple double digit loss seasons in a row.  Haven't sniffed the playoffs in ages.  Constantly cycling coaching staffs, QBs, and FO personnel, but always being fuging terrible.  Maybe a couple of players on the roster are decent in isolation, but being competitive or even watchable just feels like an impossible pipe dream.
