    TMac has been open deep. Bryce needs receivers with a wide catch radius (see AT last year) so that's why we took TMac.

    I didn't blame Bryce for this loss. But I blame him for the continued offensive ineptitude. We have had 3 shitty deep drops. Wouldn't be such a big deal if Bryce threw more than 2 of those balls at max a game. Plus Bryce isn't experiencing drops more than any other QB. By % he's right around the league average.

    "in one game he basically had more completions past 15 yards than Bryce has had all season." That's what I compared to Bryce directly. Bryce has 4 or 5 all season of more than 15 yards (depending on if a couple are 15 or 16 yards). Bryce has also only had one 20 yard completion all season. Maye has six already. Jury is still out on Maye but he certainly has talent.

    When we were screaming for WR help for Cam... Man, imagine if he had TMac. He'd be leading the NFL now. Cam didn't care if players dropped passes he kept feeding them and made them look great.

    Four passes close to 20 yards down field. In one game he basically exceeded the number of completions Bryce has over 15 yards all season.

    At least once Bryce supposedly audibled into the run, though I didn't see that play in particular to say. But it did look like from the rear of the game, Canales has realized Bryce can't/won't use the entire field so he's adjusting his game plan, heh

    He has basically given up control of both sides of the ball by sticking with Young and Evero, so who knows.

    Anyone that has been watching CJ Stroud knows he's never stopped being capable of performances like that. He's had some struggles but, unlike our 3rd year signal caller, he's already shown over an extended period he belongs. Now the question is if he can return to that elevated play longer term or not.

    Defense was outcoached today, and also outplayed. Offense action had some good calls, but our offense feels limited in execution.

    Fwiw, this applies to Dalton at the end of the game, too. But it's clear that Bryce is struggling to see/read/accurately respond to / whatever the field right now.

    because even Noodle Arm Dalton can make easy throws look easy at midrange. Bryce has the ability to make those same throws but he is struggling to process or see the field or make the right decision...

    He is a good player, I don't think he is as good a receiver as JT Sanders though. I really think this offense HAS pieces... We just are struggling to get the ball downfield.
