I'd hire him in a second as GM, but head coach? Nah.

My top candidates:

1. Will McClay (Cowboys V.P. of Player Personnel)
2. Jon Ferrari (Eagles Asst. GM)
3. Adam Peters (49ers Asst. GM)
4. Trey Brown (Bengals Sr. Personnel Exec)

I certainly hope this is the case. Only time will tell.

Never a good idea to anoint a QB as "the guy" this far in advance. Much can change between now and 2025. Hopefully Bryce comes around with a new staff and we don't have to worry about it, but if not it's entirely possible there will be one or more QBs available in 2025 that nobody is even talking about now.

No, Amini looked like an All-Pro next to Zavala. I've never seen an OL as consistently bad as he has been. Not even Nate Chandler, Michael Jordan, and Dennis Daley were this bad.

I've been saying this for months. Look at the Saints when Brees was at his peak; they routinely had the best or one of the best interior OLs in the league. Jahri Evans, Carl Nicks, Ben Grubbs, Max Unger... they clearly made the interior OL a priority because they knew how important that was for a shorter QB.

There's nothing wrong with this. Despite his performance so far everyone SHOULD be all-in on Bryce because we're not in a position to draft anyone else until 2025.

I don't care about the Bears one way or another. And we're going to have high enough picks in every other round pretty much regardless at this point so it doesn't matter all that much unless we go on a win streak or something.

Honestly this probably happens a lot more often in the NFL than you might think. These billionaire egos literally think they know it all, no matter what the subject is.

My God, Dabo Swinney coaching in the NFL would make Matt Rhule look like Don Shula.

Olsen might be a good coach one day with some experience, but nobody needs to go straight from being a player to a broadcaster to an NFL head coach.

Now as a GM? I do think the right person can absolutely make that transition. Not saying that's Greg Olsen, but still.

Brown should be extended. Burns needs to be traded for draft capital (not to mention cap space) we can use to re-build the offense.

Yeah, I don't think they can completely change schemes in late November. I'm sure they'll probably run more Rams-style concepts, but I wouldn't expect a wholesale change. That's just not really doable this late in the year.

No disrespect to Brown, but if this is true then we're fuged.
