Can't be too serious. He didn't seem to be limping at all on Monday night, even late in the game. Probably just a precaution.

A pointless segment. They're just arguing the same stuff from pre-draft about his size.
I maintain that we did not make a mistake drafting Bryce, but we may have made a HUGE one by hiring Frank Reich.

Burns and Zavala are disappointing. I was really encouraged by Zavala last week. Burns has to be better if he wants to be paid. If he can't consistently make an impact in this defense he's not worth his asking price.

The list of Heisman busts in the NFL is a long one. It means you were a great college player, it doesn't mean anything on the NFL level.
You really think Bryce doesn't know that he's not supposed to line up under the right guard? Come on.

Not gonna lie, when he lined up behind the RG and had to get chucked into position by Sanders I was like... oh fug.
He's a former Heisman winner; I think he knows not to line up over the right guard.

This is either not the case or we've been fed a line of horseshit this off-season and preseason about how Bryce has been taking over offensive meetings, breaking down the protection schemed for the team on the whiteboard, etc.
I'm tired of hearing about this stuff. I want to SEE it.
I don't get the sense that Bryce is struggling with learning the offense. My concern is that the problem might be the offense Reich is trying to run.

When watching Bryce it’s pretty obvious that he’s a step ahead of his team around him. Throws with anticipation and where WRs are supposed to be. Offense just needs to catch up to him.
That anticipation throw to Thielen that was picked off out of bounds is the perfect example of this. Bryce threw where he was supposed to, but the defender literally ran the route for the receiver.

This. The NFL season really begins in Week 5.
Remember when we started 3-0 under Matt Rhule and thought we had fixed Sam Darnold? How'd that turn out?
That said, it wouldn't shock me if Baker ends up being good for them. Let's not forget he was the #1 overall pick; there IS talent there. But I feel pretty sure by the end of the year he'll revert to form.

The Giants still have the stench of Gettleman all over them.

Absurd logic. The Saints are, on paper, the best team in the division. A loss wouldn't mean much of anything in the big picture.

You mean he's NOT the second coming of Earl Campbell who we should have signed to a 20-year, $500M contract?!? Blasphemy!

People act like we're paying Milles Sanders $25M/year.

DK Metcalf would be best case scenario. They have flirted with trading him.
Are you comfortable trading our 2025 1st?
In a heartbeat.

Without a 1st round pick it's going to be tough to get a true #1 WR in the draft.
That leaves free agency (Tee Higgins is likely to be the best available) or trading for a veteran.
Personally, I'd call up the Seahawks and see what it'd take to get D.K. Metcalf.

I'd like to think that's not him. But I've been wrong before.

Horn can at least play when healthy. I'll take that over someone who is terrible any day.

The Rams probably would trade Stafford to the Jets for the right price.

Corbett won’t be available until week 5. BC is also our LT/RT insurance.
That's really the worst thing about this. I'm much more concerned about not having a viable backup tackle than missing BC at guard.

Zavala + Corbett got this. Unfortunate for Brady, though. This probably costs him his starting job.

I hope he does better and I’d like to think he has the ability to do so, but hell if he’s dogshit, I mean I’ve lived through plenty of dogshit QBs with this team. What’s one more?
True. Gotta take your shots at QB.

Interesting. Low risk/high reward.

I think play calling was a factor as well. I know we don't have anyone who can stretch the field but we still need to take our shots.
I felt like Reich was trying to ease Bryce in by running the ball and keeping things conservative in the passing game (just look at the opening drive) but it backfired when the Falcons defense had no reason to fear our deep passing game.
It makes sense on paper given our injuries at WR, but we have to be more aggressive going forward. Bryce almost hit on that deep shot in the 4th quarter; if he starts hitting a few like that it'll force defenses to respect our passing game more.

Like most conspiracy theories, this one makes little to no sense.
You don't think Frank Reich realizes that if Bryce fails his career as a head coach is over? What would be the point of trying to hide him like this when even a playoff berth with Andy Dalton at QB wouldn't save Reich in the long run if Bryce ends up being a bust.
