First two picks are great. The rest were meh. A hybrid lb/s in the third aint it. A bum wr in the fourth aint it either.

Just go front 7 on defense in the draft. Ignore everything else.

Since I played ball, I understand things unlike you Bois. Open it up. Screens. Stretch plays. It’s all short conservative passes. Short pass plays over and over and over annnnd over keep everyone in the box. I’ve said it since day one. Canalas ain’t it.
You didn't do poo.

Next year will be interesting. Stroud fell into an amazing situation his first year and did a great job taking advantage of it. Bryce had basically the exact opposite. Now this year Strouds team has regressed and so has he. Bryce again, the opposite. Year 3 will be real fun to follow between these 2. I think both will be great
Not arguing with you but could it be that the league just figured him out now that they have enough film to disect? Seems like it happen to tons of guys. Another reason I'm starting to see some hope on Bryce. To be doing better despite the film and the blow getting benched does to your confidence, he's trending up.

Hunter or Tmac for me.
Hunter and Horn DB tandem would be great and we still have Brown in the middle at DT. That's a solid foundation to start building this defense. Also Hunter is a playmaker if he gets a INT he's looking to score. He's gonna put points on he board for the defense.
Tmac he's quite simply the only real true #1 WR in this draft. If you can give Bryce that kind of weapon it takes the offense to another level.
That's it, if neither are there, trade down. I love Mason but not at 4, trade down to 8 and get an extra 4th rounder.

Damn. Feel bad for the dude. Can't imagine how mad I'd be right now if Bryce wasn't starting to look decent. Lol. Why are the professionals so bad at this? Don't draft injured players end of story.
-
Get a WR with the first pick. Resign horn, but don't get taken to school on the contract since he's been injury prone.

Wasn’t Jonathan Stewart injured when we drafted him too?
Maybe, in which case my point is made much weaker.

Thank you and good fuging night!

Yes pay him. There is an injury risk, but broken bones can't be that common. Hit got hit a fluky way on the last break if memory serves. Keep him. He's proven he's an outstanding DB, and this is a passing league. Our offense is functioning now, and the less pieces we need to rebuild the defense, the better.

Order for draft
1. McMillian
2. Graham or a top NT if we stick with a 3-4.
3. One of the top edge guys, not a big DE, but an OLB if we stick with 3-4. That guy from Ohio State of we go 4-3.

Haha. Everyone was on our ass for not getting more. Put this in your pipe and smoke it.

Normally with a high pick I'm inclined to take something like a stud DE, but I've noticed young DE's seem to take a year or two to develop against the run. That's the last thing we need right now. I'd lean toward addressing DE in free agency and use the draft to build up the interior of the line and the linebacking corps. A force of nature beside Derrick Brown is exactly what this team needs to get back to the playoffs.
We've beefed up the o-line. Now we need to do the same with the D line. Luckily, it doesn't seem we need to spend much time or resources on skill positions, so we should have the ability to focus on defense.
I agreed with everything up till the very end. I still think this team needs a number one wr and te.

He’s also has the 3rd most drops this season.
This is why I don't understand people who aren't as bullish as I am on taking WR with our number 1 pick.

Not mad at it. Completely understand. To be fair, I suck at draft stuff b/c I don’t watch CFB at all.
Same here. I couldn't find my ass with both hands. Fun to speculate in any case.

I’m one of those “keep your strengths strong” kinda guys. Moton is getting older and if the line can’t hold up, a new receiver won’t matter.
I get the logic. Makes sense. And I'd take a center in the third. Mine breaks down
1. DL
2. WR
3. OL, brailsford would be nice.

A: all focus should be the front 7. Run defense and pass rush. It’ll make our secondary better as a result.
B: oline depth
C; try to find another WR/TE
D; a ball hawking safety would be nice
in that order.
Agree except C and B should flip. We need a real dude at WR.
-
Yep, over four years you should draft one in each year. Both lines actually. And it should be in the first five rounds.
8/20
If you have 22 positions and 9 are alloted to OL/DL then that's 45%. So out of 20 draft picks 8 should be line of scrimmage.
