    LOL,gained a 5th round pick,and lost Colson.

Yeah, much preferred Coulson to Wallace. Wallace is the better coverage guy, but Coulson seems to understand what's going on a lot more. At least at this stage. More upside on Wallace, but Coulson is more likely to be ready to start if someone gets hurt.

According to the Bleacher, the 2025 NFL draft is deep @ OT, CB and Edge Rusher. Depending on how our season goes, we’ll have opportunities to upgrade significantly at these positions next year.

i was noticing that CB and Edge are really deep. Didnt notice OT, but thats good to hear. We need to have succession plans for Clowney, Moton, and Gilmore (assuming we get him). further, Icky, JC, and Wonnum are not guarantees to work out. Could afford to double dip at all three positions if things go terrible.

From what I understand he’s supposed to be very very good as a 3-4 end, I personally really like it (but I couldn’t be further from an expert). What surprised me the most is that we didn’t try to get a real NT and use Tuttle as the first backup end.

Agreed, I think Tuttle is a poor choice as the starter at nose. Better as a backup at end to brown and Robinson (since they insist on slotting him there).

Yes it was confirmed that Tuttle is the NT.

Does that not seem odd? Robinson is the known better talent for that position. Was there a logic given? Seems a real head scratcher to me. Not to mention that Brown and Robinson both weigh more than Tuttle. The smallest starter is at Nose?!

I'm all for letting the draft play out and let it come to you as they say. Stay out the "runs" on players at any position.  That's how we ended up with an overdrafted DE. The Panthers could take any player and it would fill a need somewhere. Just take the best left on their board and don't look back.

  6. He's been called a party animal.  Maybe not a case a day, but 6-12 wouldn't surprise me. He's certainly getting rowdy every weekend if he's got that title.

getting a dui doesn't mean your a borderline alcoholic. hes a kid in college about to make millions.. who wouldn't make a mistake. drinking at a party doesn't mean you go chug a case of beer everyday and get behind the wheel.

Question from a person that is not great with stats: If the scouts suck, then isn’t it better to view a pick as an educated guess? And if that were true wouldn’t we have a better chance with more guesses?

Statistics would say that's true but unfortunately it seems when teams try this method they still draft based off of older school scout attributes and it somewhat defeats it. I have no stats to back this up.

Says the guy with the "!?" In the thread title, indicating that you're taking it seriously to some degree or another.

The best part about the draft is that all of the pre-draft nonsense (media, fans, and random podcasters alike) stops.

?! Means wtf, champ. Sorry if i hurt your heart. Maybe next time, I dunno, don't open the thread.

It appears these draft websites haven't caught the Cuba Hubbard fever some on this board have.  Personally I think hes' a solid RB2, but not a #1, and most of the pundits seem to agree.  Sanders is an afterthought.  I'll take his contract and be an afterthought too.  Poor guy.

Yeah. I could understand one, in the 4th but two just seemed silly given the needs and the positional value.
