Full disclosure, was not at all a fan of this pick in the 2nd BECAUSE I generally view him as being very limited in his pass rush ability.

That said, he does have the makeup to be very capable of replacing Clowney, long term.

Lost your pie with that landing. You are incorrect. Go back and watch Purdue. Bro is nasty with a motor on Nos!

Honestly Im just posted that in support of smithslawnguy during his continued drug/booze fueled bender....

Besides Tmac and burden, I've done near nothing on WR. * I did dive some on golden some after the combine, but less than two hours. Life-style changed a few years ago, Im just quit doing deep dives into the whole draft.

My current system is the following- top 50 consensus and mock drafts sims. The key is the mock drafts now, I research some of the players around each Panther pick. Its cheating, but no longer am I disappointed come draft days.

I can appreciate the booze bender, not on the drugs. Dude is worth taking Look at. He is the blazer that we need!

You must have researched him to know this--I said I would research him.  And there are trades, etc. during the draft--you really need to know the full board.

Dude is legit. Probably top 5 receiver.

  4. This guy is it. I'd love him in the second but we may have to move up. Watch him and  his speed, break, burst breaks, n come back are ridiculous. That's what we need! Dude can fire from outside or slot. If you don't see it. Keep smoking.

    Scouting Report: Summary

The tape shows a player whose future in the NFL lies inside at guard, where his massive frame and power-based skill set can be maximized while minimizing his athletic limitations. Savaiinaea's experience at tackle provides valuable versatility, but his combination of size, power, and technical refinement projects him as a potential day-one starter at right guard in a gap-heavy run scheme.

His proficiency in pass protection will translate well to the interior, where his patient hands and natural anchor will shine against defensive tackles. While he needs technical refinement in the run game, particularly with pad level and leverage, his raw power and understanding of angles suggest significant upside as he transitions inside. Smart money has him landing with a team that emphasizes downhill running and values offensive line versatility, potentially stepping in as a starter by mid-season of his rookie year.

Given his frame, technical foundation, and three years of high-level starting experience, Savaiinaea profiles as a solid day-two selection who could outperform his draft position. His ceiling might be capped by athletic limitations, but his floor as a reliable interior starter makes him a valuable investment for teams looking to solidify their offensive line.

This site (NFL Draft Buzz, I think) projects to G.

This guy is a boss. I watch a YouTube clip and this guy breaks down his life. Kuddos to you.

I mean he fits this team perfectly. I have considered the possibility that a S might be the pick for sometime now. The edge talk has drowned out any other position talk except the TE Warren. They only reason to consider not to go defense at 8 is if a generational talent on offense is there. Most seem to think that's Warren. So for now I'm going with Emannwori as the front runner.

I quit saying it when people told me he is a second rounder. I call B.S.

  7. Unless he is Ben Rothlisraper,  how is Mike Green not a top 10 lock? 17 sacks, 100% effort on every play, great measurables. Marshall be damned. You think that guy wouldn't have more than 4 1/2 sacks in 3 years at A&M? Panthers, please stop just looking at the panty parade and look for some production!
