  1. What in the hell are these defense calls?!?!?!?
  2. Still have problems tackling this far into the season. Come on!
  3. This is what a good offensive line can do for a QB. I've always felt Darnold was left in the wind the previous year and things that were the fault of a horrible line were put on him. Now we're seeing what we actually have. If he plays awesome this game and the next, I say we keep him as QB1 for next year and continue to develop Corral. Then get BPA in the draft in every round.
  4. That's the play calling I've wanted to see. Be UNPREDICTABLE. Take what the defense gives you. If they line up 8 men in the box each play and we still run up the gut we deserve to lose. This is the opposite of that. Keep it up. It won't always work, but it will work more than the alternative...
  5. Whoever the new coach is, I just don't want another COWARD.
  6. I still find it INCREDIBLE that we haven't had back to back winning season in almost THIRTY fuging YEARS!
  7. 7 plays for the Panthers offense in the 2nd half with 12 minutes left in the 4th quarter. WOW.
  8. Wow, this team sucks. Just wow. Talent is there, but coaching just doesn't have a clue...
  9. That's why I'm so glad the other teams are the Falcons and Saints. They'll be hamstrung for YEARS...
  10. Hell Yeah! We might actually have a decent team next year if we focus on the o-line...and fire Rhule.
  11. Well, my dream scenario is for us to trade back from #6, grab a mid-round 1st use that on whichever OT/DE drops (if any or even Linderbaum if he's still there) and use the extra picks to get good Guards in the 2nd/3rd. I'd trade back again if we got some significant picks in the 2-3 range which could be used to shore up the o-line. We're just not going to do poo with a crap line and Watson will not fix that. Strong offensive lines get you: 1. That first down on 3rd and 2. 2. Time of Possession so your young defense is not tired and giving their offense hell running all over the place. 3. Protection for whichever QB game manager is put in there for a year. 4. Holes for smallish RB's to exploit without getting creamed at the line of scrimmage.
  12. Drop down, grab Linderbaum and use the extra picks for the top OL Guard rookies. Easy peasey.
  13. I'm not going to make time in a busy schedule for this crap anymore. Tired of the let down most years. Black cats indeed...
  14. what offensive line? These guys are pathetic, but what's worse is the horseshit calls on our guys by the refs. Disgusting.
  15. It's over. The season that is. No way we make the playoffs. Teams have figured us out and coaches can't adapt. Draft some damn Offensive Linemen and get some top FA's next year and maybe we'll have a chance. So disappointed.
  16. To me, it's all about an offensive line that just doesn't give any of our QB's time. Cam is having issues due to them. Fix this next year. Tired of having the same issues year after year...
  17. Run that score up! Crush them! That will be the springboard we need going into the hard part of the schedule...
  18. Man, I have not enjoyed a Panther game this much in a long time.
  19. Man, it's good to see Cam pulling those plays out again. Getting us those 2-3 yards we need.
  20. LOVE that they went for points before the half! LOVE IT! Rivera would have just run the clock out. It's the little things like this that make me happy. I need to know that they want to win.
  21. I know I'm not the first one thinking this, but shouldn't the "strategy" for the Panthers now be to keep Cam as the starter (for years possibly as long as he keeps performing) and develop Darnold as the backup to be used as a potential starter in future years? He's still young and could be fixed with some more learning. By that time we may even have an offensive line...
