They don't think any of this is rebuilding. They never have. It's a move to win now which is why it looks so bad.

You don't trade that much away and are able to call it a rebuild.

The most painful part is we might be giving away the #1 pick this year, Fitt and co just set this Franchise back a decade by their incompetence. Fire Fitt and get Tepper the fug away from this organization.

Chubb, Hill, Ramsey, Armstead are not exactly home grown talents…. They hit on McDaniel and he was their backup candidate as they wanted Tom Brady and Sean Payton

Trading for Chubb was a bad trade for the Dolphins, the verdict is not out on Ramsey. Chiefs trade Tyreek and win the Super Bowl the next season. I'm confused Arik Armstead was quite literally drafted by the 49ers not sure what your referencing there. Overall confused by your point, all the teams I mentioned were built through the draft at essentially all of their key positions minus Dolphins and Tyreek.

this team has tried to build through the draft for 20 years. We're complaining about our GM's but you want to build through the draft. We just tried that with arguably what could be the worst NFL draft in the history of the sport if nothing pans out. At this point you get your QB, surround him with veterans, open the damn check book, and sprinkle skill position rookies for development in there.

I think I see what your saying, but to be honest I disagree with your point that we have built through the draft more so than other teams. In recent years we have been adamant on building outside the draft, ala signing Teddy B, trading for Darnold, trading picks for Gilmore, and Henderson, and trading up for Corall. We honestly at least in recent years devalued the draft. And even going forward we don't have first-round picks for the next two years. Building a team through free agency has never worked historically, and building through the draft has been the most proven roster-building strategy by far. Look at the Cheifs, trading all pro-WR Tyreek for 5 picks, and next year they win the Super Bowl. The 49ers were built through the draft and honestly hampered themselves when they strayed away from that strategy when they traded all the capitical to move up for Trey Lance. The only option going forward is to build through the draft and patch with free agency.

  4. Sustained success is a massive green flag, I would look at the Chiefs, Eagles, and even the Dolphins. All three in recent years have been killing it in the draft, fug wasting money on overpriced free agents. Let's build our team back up through the draft, tired of us wasting 3rd round picks like their worth nothing. Getting really cheap effective young talent can turn around a Franchise like nothing else.

    Per ESPN… https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38235314/sources-colts-grant-rb-jonathan-taylor-ok-seek-trade

should we?? I mean a 3rd round pick for Taylor would be a no brainer. Chuba ain’t it.

    Sanders/Taylor would be special

Mods delete this, this already exists and is misinformed. Colts are asking for a first or the equivalent of a first in terms of picks.

if he says he is going to be back by training camp i'm going to trust he'd be back by the regular season over someone random on the internet assuming otherwise against his own direct quote but again, that's why i said it's a depth problem, not a talent problem.

The WR2s in the NFC south very specifically do not scare me against a healthy DJ. Godwin has had similar injuries, the Falcons quite literally do not have two wide receivers, and i'm not going to talk about michael thomas as an NFL player until he plays again in the NFL

Yeah same I’m gonna trust factual medical information over a random on the internet. It’s ok to take the rose tinted glasses off every once in a while, every team has flaws and it’s beyond evident our cornerback room is an issue. Honestly sad that your argument is name dropping a few WRS in the division, like we don’t play other teams? I pray for us when we have to face Tyreek and Waddle with this corner room outside of Jaycee. Come on man, this is just childish we do not need to be ignorant to our genuine weaknesses.

week 10. He is the 2.

“I’m feeling great… Feeling strong,” Jackson said. “Just using all this time that I have up until training camp to get more and more ready. Just diving in the system and having my rehab.”

He’s missed 13 games over the past two seasons, combined with the fact an Achilles tear is the literal worst injury a corner back could suffer. And his recovery time will most likely have him missing some amount of time in the season. Not even to mention a small corner who is reliant on his speed losing a step from an Achilles tear is a bad combination. Please do not use camp fodder quotes as an argument lmao, every injured player ever has said that it means basically nothing.
