I like Javante, but you cannot use a 2nd rounder here.

You can grab a guy later in the draft where we have plenty of picks. I see Khalil Herbert as a little underrated, and also like Kylin Hill, Chuba Hubbard, and Elijah Mitchell depending on how far each fall for availability.

I agree, I'd love Kylin in the 7th or UDFA. Think he ends up there too

Glad you can copy and paste other posters while retaining zero comprehension. Ohh, and last year did happen but keep huffing that paint man

you think i read 7 pages of comments? I saw your dumb comment on page 1 and replied. Ah yes, I forget Fitterer was here last year. i can't tell if you're being dense purposely just to doom and gloom or you really can't see the big picture here

A 6th is poo especially since they are not taking all of it on.  Again, why not wait if this was the best deal and we are still going to have to pay for him?  Saving 5 million isnt poo this year.  Its not the difference between playoff or not.  And now we still need a backup.  I just dont understand the timing if this is the deal

This is my point. You have no idea if we could move him after the draft. It's clear we don't want him here, this could have been the best and only deal we would get.. take it. Also you're short sighted on your cap savings. 5mil rolls into next year, we are trying to sign Moton long term, we will be making FA acquisitions during the season, etc. You're way way trying to oversimplify this into a one year thing that it is not.

I think him being off the team is a good thing but the timing, just getting a 6th and the cap it is messed up.  Why not wait until the draft, why not wait to see if a qb went down.  Seems like we jumped on the first offer and we didnt save poo

I think you are vastly underestimating the situation. This is absolutely a scenario that you jump on the first offer (not even saying this was it). We save 5mil+ this season and get a 6th round pick. How is that a bad deal? Majority of us here would have been happy if we traded him for nothing in return

    where are people buying from?

I'm really tempted to throw a couple dollars in for fun.  Probably not DOGE but just to see what it is all about.  I looked at Coinbase since they made so much news with their IPO but they seem to not give access to buy a lot of stuff.

Buy ETH from Coinbase and then use Uniswap (DEX) and you can swap ETH for any ERC-20 token

This guy bought eth at 10 bucks a coin. Planned to hold for a year but sold at 50 bucks.   A year to the day I bought it was over 1400 dollars.  Smh... trx is going to surpass (not in dollar per coin but overall project market cap it at somepoint I think). Chinese coin, if it blows up it will be gigantic.

Tron is a Justin Sun project. I'd be very skeptical of that one

  7. I don’t have a 3 round but don’t see anyway Parsons is the pick in the 1st. If we’re at 8 Sewell or Slater is available and if we trade back just a few Slater should still be there. Have to take your franchise LT. Sewell is a top 3 pick if this wasn’t such a QB heavy need draft.

I would’ve gladly traded a 2, 4, 6 to move up for someone who can be truly special at the QB position rather than settling for long shot game manager

this may be the worst move this team has ever made, if one of these QBs goes on to be great, and at least one certainly will, we will always have to sit back and wonder what could’ve been

This doesn't make any sense. Of course we'd love to do that but it isn't anywhere slightly  realistic. Trading up would have cost us multiple 1st round picks.

I agree, BUT this was the best offseason to get your potential man.
Carolina may be bad again next year, who knows, and be in play for one of the 2 QBs that could be a starter.
Many fans saw this year as one of the best years to get a QB, but now the Panthers are on the outside looking in and no plan for the future, from a fans perspective at least.
Panthers may drag Teddy to the playoffs next year. But there is going to be this undercurrent of “What if”.  Because let’s face it. Unless our defense really becomes 2019 49ers or 2001 Ravens. The team will make the playoffs, face a better team that will stop the short passes of TB and we will enter a loop similar to the Chiefs before they got Mahomes.
Alex Smith always had great season numbers and then struggled in the playoffs, he only made it to the NFC Championship once.
We could of potentially gotten our franchise QB but now we are going to have to endure Bridgewater another season and potentially more.
Panthers said they were gonna be aggressive, but an aggressive team would have done what the 49ers did.

I’m sure another will emerge. This time last year nobody knew who Zach Wilson was. Well end up with 4 first round QBs next year as well... prob not as top heavy but they’ll be there.

  10. This sucks because it all but guarantees we aren't getting a top QB HOWEVER it pushes some elite prospects to our pick at 8. We really can't fug up #8 unless we reach for Mac.. We'll absolutely get an elite LT or lockdown CB1 or even generational talent TE.

Do it and go all in for Sam Howell next year

Actually looking at the board I can't see a snerio where all the Qbs will be gone

    Jags gonna Lawrence

Jets, we don't know. They may want to move on, but I feel like they would take the once in a lifetime tackle in Sewell

Miami is definetly gonna pick Smith to reunite him with Tua

Falcons will probably pick a QB (probably Fields)

Cincy will probably take the tackle out of Northwestern (heard he's rising)

Eagles, Luire said they're all in on Hurts for now

Lions have no WRs they'll take Chase

Giants seems to want to give Jones one more chance so they'll probably draft BPA.

Smith at 3?? I don't see that happening. If they want Smith they trade down (for a team who takes a QB at 3)

  12. No brainer TL. QBs on cheap deals with the other money spent on FA is a good recipe for a SB birth. Think 2 of the last 4 winners are that category.. the other 2 being Brady who always takes team friendly deals to surround himself with talent.

I 100% agree that he isn't on Rodgers level yet, but I also agree that Watson is just behind Mahomes in value. When talking value, age is a factor, and being 12 years younger is more valuable than the difference playing level at this point.

I agree which is why I threw in his injury history. Couple that with (I think) he is the most sacked since he entered the league. There’s just a ton of variables... age is definitely one of them. I just know if you said next 3 years I’d prefer Wilson, Rodgers, or Mahomes. But yeah you say 10 years and that conversation changes.

Watson is more than even elite. After Mahomes, he's the most valuable player in the league. If you get a player like Watson, you just need an above average supporting cast to be fuging PERENNIAL Super Bowl contenders. You can get that above average roster through second, third round and free agency. Which, get Watson and you become a premier free agency destination. It is insane how overrated our young "core" has become. None of them are untradable if a player like Watson is actually on the table.

Come on now. I feel like we're getting wrapped up in some euphoric echo chamber now. He's a top 5 player for sure. He's not Mahomes or Rodgers level yet. He's also had some injury concerns with his ACL (x2) and back. All that being said, yeah you absolutely trade 2-3 firsts and CMC for him if you can.

There’s talk that teams would GET picks for taking wentz because of his contract and risk.

in other words, the eagles may have to pay to get rid of him.

If we could trade Teddy for Wentz and we get a couple picks behind it that we can use to package up with #8 and move up, this is an absolute no brainer
