If the Panthers are still going with the BPA philosophy and Kenyon Sadiq is still hanging around at 19, they have to select him. He's a top 10-15 prospect.
Can he block? I don’t know anything about him.

#Panthers one year, $2M Stone Forsythe, $1.05M gtd, $500K signing bonus, salary $1.215M ($550K salary gtd), $15K per game active roster bonus, $1.25M playtime, team rankings incentive. Max APY: $3.25M
That’s solid even for how bad he is. Hopefully he never sees the field

I love the BPA approach but at some point you need to be realistic. As things stand right now, I think you really have to go OT at 19 as long as it isn't a full half round reach and then the roster is setup you can go BPA elsewhere

b!tch ass fug him

I like this move. Elite special teamer and has a role as a situational defensive guy
-
If he comes back from injury same as pre and can stay healthy all year (both huge ifs) I’d be happy rolling with him at LT
-
I think Nijman is the LT plan as of now with a chance at 19 if the draft falls our way. I’d like Jenkins at center

hell they still need to invest a good draft pick at ILB, maybe not in rounds 1-2 now.....
Huddlers prepare thy self for CB and WR at 19 and 51st.....
I can’t imagine one of our first 2 picks would not be OL

and pay him with what, warm wishes? Carolina has to figure out how to pay Phillips as they currently dont have the cap for his contract. Sure Robinson is gone but that wont be enough. Some restructures/trades need to happen soon or carolina may be looking for volunteers from the fans to fill out the roster.
I don't think any moves are made without Tills already having them planned.

Considering how many first round qb bust we’ve seen go to other teams and be good, I think we should be more open minded to this. Hes just a back up and I would argue an upgrade over Dalton. Who knows what he could do in a different system and a different team?
Who besides Darnold? I feel like that never works out. Geno sucked, Wilson sucked, Lance sucked. Baker is mid tier I guess.
-
Well that sucks. I really was hoping we wouldn't waste money on a Pickett/Howell/Fields worthless roster spot. Just roll with Andy again, if Bryce goes down you get a high pick and get to try again at QB in the draft. I've never seen the point of half assing it and drafting some mid round guy or journeyman backup.

He's not going to be cheap. Probably could have re-signed Mays cheaper than what Jenkins will be asking.
Jenkins is better though. Would be a great git (I'm a state homer tho)

We won 6 games last season by a field goal... see the part of dumb luck I mentioned before?
and Philly won 6 in 2024 on the way to a Super Bowl - what is your point? Luck obviously always is an extremely important part of any pro sports (injuries, weather, travel, schedule, etc.)

Morgan is brain damaged.. Between he and Tepper we have to hope for dumb luck for this team to ever be good I think.
Morgan built enough of a roster to get us to the playoffs after going 2-15 in 2023. That is impressive no matter how we limped into the postseason, I'd probably hold off on proclaiming Morgan can't build a roster yet.

Just now, RJK said:Typical panthers. This doesn’t even kind of fix the pass rush
How does a guy with a 19% pressure rate not help fix the pass rush?

Wow that’s a huge pickup for us. Really frees up that first round pick for BPA or OL or trade down and accumulate picks

Decker had a bad 2025, but could be worth a look as a stop gap
Yep this is a huge lucky break served on a silver platter. 2 year contract

RAS all day!!!
You could almost perfectly predict pur picks just based off of highest RAS on the board. We weren't drafting for a football team, we were trying to build a track and field squad.
Those clowns thought we needed NFL version of the Globetrotters

Will the run game be good enough now?

I think we are fine if stay healthy (big if). Chubba is proven, Etienne looked fine as a lower 2 as a rookie and will be better. If Brooks comes back as advertised that’s a very solid room
