  1. I was thinking Adoree too. I don't want to fixate on one specific guy, just go get the best cost option for this year and roll with it
  2. Why was Coker not a 3rd/4th round guy? Besides small school, he must have a glaring weakness. That size, vertical and production is very very good and I’ve heard he’s elite route runner. Slow? Drops?
  3. DK combine shows 6’3 228. XL 6’1 221. Doesn’t seem MUCH smaller especially when they have the same vertical
  4. I would kill for this with the Rams where we picked up next year 2nd. I bet that was INTENSE
  5. Yeah not my first choice either. Just seems weird this thing has played out and maybe the coaching staff sees something in BC
  6. I don’t know I’m starting to get a suspicion Corbett was never the true plan and it was always BC. If true, we already have 2 centers on the roster and we know BC is an average to above average guard based on his rookie year. Gotta imagine he is better in year 3 even coming off injury and can hope he’s able to make the switch
  7. I get you have to do them, but man are draft grades stupid before any of these guys step on an NFL field.
  8. I think Gilmore is back this time next week
  9. yeah honestly I may have taken Franklin at 72 anyway so just flip flop him with Sanders
  10. Hard to do because now we know where everyone went (I would have grabbed Sanders at 72 if I didn't know he'd be there at 101) 32 - Ladd 46 - Sainristill 72 - Sanders 101 - Troy Franklin 157 - Hunter Nourzad 200 - Crumdey 240 - whoever BPA is, I don't know players this late
  11. This is an insane catch, and I love that he foreshadowed his days with the Panthers by having a non contact injury at the end of it (I kid - hopefully)
  12. Kittle is the full package. Dude is violent in the blocking game
  13. It blows my mind how many people I see freaking out about the trade saying it was pointless to move up since we had the next pick anyway. Obviously our FO already knew or got wind of another team liking him and made the move (for basically nothing).
  14. I think he makes the team. One other thing I forgot to mention, Mike Leach passed away Dec 2022 and we promoted our DC to HC much before he was ready. Our defense took a massive step back because of this, we promoted our LB coach to DC and he also was not ready. The entire defense was a disaster last year due to external factors, if he didn’t get hurt 2022 and had continuity in 2023, legit believe he could have been a 3rd round guy. That’s a ton of ifs, but that’s what 6th round picks are for
  15. I've watched every snap this guy has played past 4 years. He was nowhere near the top rated DL we brought in over the years, but consistently did his part. He was prime for a breakout year in 2022 but an injury really derailed him for about an entire year and he never got the momentum back. Morgan must think we can help him take the next step. 10 pounds smaller than D Brown probably, same height. Really solid run stopper. Should be able to be a rotational guy for us, probably won't be on the field much on 3rd and long
  16. He’s got all year unless we take Rattler here in a couple hours.
  17. He’ll be ready but we will ease him in just because he’s a rookie. Imagine he’s RB1 around week 6. XL doesn’t really matter if he is named starter or not, he will get a ton of playing time
  18. Corbett has had one bad year in his whole career and unsurprisingly so did every other OL under whatever tf we were doing last year on offense. Agree the injury is a concern. You gotta hope he thrives at C under the new blocking scheme we’re running this year.
  19. I wouldn’t say it’s a weakness, he’s an adequate route runner. He def isn’t DJ level, but adequate. His biggest weakness imo is can he beat getting jammed at the line in the NFL and make those contested catches he could in college against bigger stronger corners
