The only conclusion I can make is the Panthers decision makers are just set in their ways for better or worse.

The New Orleans Saints kicked this bum to the curb nearly three years ago and have a rookie QB that many people ridiculed them for drafting who might as well be lightyears ahead of our QB room.

And people actually want to argue that our GM is competent.

Throwing shade at our GM who was not the GM when Andy was brought in and has brought in the most promising rookie class in years is quite a decision

That was a very technical catch and we've already discussed that he's raw as a WR.

Early in his career, while he's developing, he's meant to get the ball on jet sweeps, drags, slants etc - i.e. extended handoffs.

He's already shown he can take the top off a defence and he can make difficult catches. He wasn't worth the 1st round pick, but there's clearly a lot of talent there.

I don’t care about that. There was zero effort on that play he didn’t even try to catch it.

Honestly, I just want to see DC have a game where he calls mostly deep routes and tells Bryce to Chuck it deep. If he throws 3 or more INTs, that will help make it very obvious Bryce is not a QB worthy of a roster spot on any NFL team

I agree with this. Call the full playbook. Maybe we see it in late Dec after we drop a few more

The QB position has been in a steady decline for years.  You’ve got a few really good ones and then it’s just a mess after that.  The NFL needs to figure out how to develop QBs before we full on revert to leather helmet (rugby) football.

They did it to themselves but it will work its way back. We are being smart and figuring out the league is not the pass happy one of 2018-2023 and getting ahead of it. Once every team stop running majority double high safety looks and have to commit to the run again, QBs will magically look great again

  5. I doubt it I think FO still knows we are a QB away from being contenders even if the rest of the roster is coming together. With how well Dan is drafting I’d rather us stockpile picks we can use to either move up a few spots in April or just let Dan cook with. The chemistry on this team is good I really wouldn’t move or bring in anyone unless we can get LB starter/depth that is advantageous towards us on the comp.

I honestly feel that his kicker bailed him out on this one. Imagine the criticism he would get if Fitzgerald missed the kick and we actually lose. He had plenty of questionable decisions and poor game management at the end. Winning covers up a lot of blemishes.

What were the questionable decisions and poor management?

13 sacks on the year so far. Half of those came against the Jets. NFL.com has us ranked 26th overall. We are probably good then, right?

No, in what world are those good stats?

Not paying Burns is 1 thing. Attempting to bolster the pass rush with nobodies and has-beens is a completely different matter unfortunately. Maybe we should draft another wr?

We used 2 of our top 3 picks on pass rush and probably use another top 2 this year
