Musk fuged up Twitter, you used to be able to change the "X" adress to Twitter and it still worked for a while but he did something else to finally break it. They stopped embedding on Discord around the same time. Dunno about the other stuff. I use the Brave browser on my phone and laptop and it works fine.

I don’t think this is twitter related. This site has always been insanely inefficient with no memory optimization and it’s just been getting worse.

The Panthers are not 1 WR away from being a playoff team

Of course not, but it is a major piece. Especially with how Bryce was slinging it towards the end. We would still have all of FA (we can make a TON of cap space this year) and a loaded 2-7 round picks.

Yes, but my point is for the same cap room we could have Burden and a legit starting pass rusher, I'm taking that over just Wilson every time.

It's allocation of resources, not being afraid of spending the cap.

If we were a #1 WR away from being legit contenders, like the Bills and Eagles with Diggs and Brown, then it's a different discussion, but we're not that.  We have so many holes right now, that filling one of the holes at the cost of being able to fill 2 of them for the same price, just isn't good roster management.

I do think 8 should be off the table, but on the flip side I can see the appeal of KNOWING you have WR1 locked up for the foreseeable future and being able to use the remaining draft fully on defense. With Burden or TMac you just don’t know for sure

Hell no too giving up a top 10 pick. Anything lower we can talk.

I really think a second this year (Rams) and next years third could do it IF Rodgers comes back. If Rodgers leaves I think they make him untouchable.

just remember it’s the jets anything is possible

I highly doubt our 5 wins are the reason for interest in us. Improvement in bryce and a staff bringing hope/consistency was always going to be the reason.

    Improvement in Bryce = winning

you aren’t losing many games when your QB goes for 5 TDs, even with our defense.

He's already playing like a veteran. He could climb the depth chart next year. Maybe challenge XL. Because one thing he's definitely got going for him is sure hands. And if we can work some trick plays into his repertoire, he's setting himself up to be a long time Panther.

Doesn't need to challenge XL for anything, he is already a better WR than him. XL is a better overall athlete with a higher ceiling, but he doesn't have it put together yet like Coker does.

Where did I say any of that? I didn't.

However, let's pretend for a second that I did. If the competition is indeed a catalyst of Bryce's performance, and it sure appears to be, would it not be sage to keep that solidly in place rather than risk decline in performance? Is that not worthy of prioritizing in some way, shape, or form? And is that not the responsibility of the FO to address such priorities?

    Boy, if you don't stop...

It’s year 3. Bryce proved everything he needed this year. There is zero point in using draft capital or overpaying unnecessary FA funds on a starter level backup QB. Bryce doesn’t need competition anymore in year 3 after proving himself. We will have our cheap vet backup.

It is tough to decide who is a top 10 QB since QB rankings are dependent on so many factors. But things like good against pressure, clutch in the 4th quarter, good in the 2 minute drill, manages the game, good TD to Int ratio, etc. tell you more than simple stats like completion percentage or passing yards per game and the like.

What I know about Bryce is he is tough and gritty and gives it his all. And he is mentally tough as steel. Will he be the franchise guy. I hope so given what we have invested and his character and resilience. He is the kind if guy you can build around.

One thing to add to the pro Bryce list is he is absolutely fuggin CLUTCH in the 4th and OT when game is on the line. That is one of the most important traits a QB can have

  9. Hmm no but the past few weeks have been pretty close. I think I'd go off top of my head: Lamar, Allen, Burrow, Mahomes, Daniels (cautious here after CJ sophomore slump), Baker, Stafford, Goff... Shoot there aren't any more I'd put for sure above him. Sam and Jordan maybe? Yeah ok maybe top 10.
