Lol “We ban people for being politically overt and driving single agendas”

Meanwhile, a whole thread calling the new head coach a “weirdo” and a closet homosexual because of his religion gets made with no ban.

2 pages of posts about Bryce Young’s height based on a picture ignoring that the woman is in heels. A year later still talking about Bryce Young’s combine weight as if an NFL team and room full of doctors would be fooled by a guy eating a big meal and drinking water. Guys trying to make the college basketball thread about Bryce hate.

But the guy that was banned had nothing to do with disagreeing with the mod who often spearheads the Bryce hate…

maybe linville can make a sister safe space to the positive vibes thread that is only for the same 4 posters who spam bryce comparison pics and obsess over his weight

Yeah, the titles are largely window dressing. The job descriptions are very fluid.

Can't remember if we're still using BLESTO or not. Vaguely remember seeing something about it a little while back but don't remember the specifics.

Pretty sure Morrow is the last holdover from the Richardson regime. He was Director of College Scouting for a while under Marty. His title over the last few years has been one of those "step back" roles that you typically see people take right before they retire, but he's still here

Can't help feeling that a lot of the current staff could well be reassigned or perhaps restructured out of the building after the Draft. But then again, with an in-house candidate having been given the job, that might be minimized (or maybe not even happen at all).

Question: why would this happen after the draft? Seems it would be imperative you get your new scouting team in place before the draft as to not “waste” another draft. Unless there just isn’t enough time to do that transition in Feb

So why bother? This isn't reddit. We're not trying to be reddit. If reddit suits them better, great. Glad they found a place they like.

I think you're purposely missing the point here. Even in this thread (and it isn't the first one) huddlers kind of call you out on power tripping as a mod and you double down. It's whatever, but it drives people away from here.

We've always banned folks who show up with politically overt usernames, avatars, and/or obviously driving a single posting agenda from the get go. He checked every box. The error we made was not banning him straight out of the gate. I'll take the blame for that.

Look man, you obviously don't care and double down on your authority, but just so you are aware your name comes up on the Panthers subreddit a good bit and how you have driven people away from the huddle for power trips. Just want to be sure you're aware of that perception as I really enjoy the huddle and want to see it have continued success.

He does want out but can’t leave if it’s a lateral move. Tepper is holding him hostage. He’s getting paid well but doesn’t want to be here.

Adhering to your signed contract is not “holding him hostage”. He can wipe his tears with his $6M of $100 bills

That doesn't take into account how many games each qb played lol. Switch to ypa or something more useful and get back to me. He's obviously not better than Cousins or Burrow just because they missed lots of games for example

No, I'm not cherry picking anything to fit a narrative. Also clearly Cousins and Burrow are better QBs than Bryce right now, there's no question. I just went to the official listings and pulled the list as it stands. Carr is 13th btw.

Only saying, 4000 yards and a 3:1 ratio is not an average 20th ranked QB in the NFL.

The norm…what horseshet.  Plenty of teams have the OC make the play calls including our new coach who called them Tampa last season.

Please do some homework next time so you don’t get laughed at

You know what, I got nothing going on tonight, I can spend some time to call you out. Offensive HCs and if they call plays themselves:

    Andy Reid - Y

    Kyle Shanahan - Y

    Sean Payton - Y

    Zac Taylor - Y

    Dan Campbell - N

    Doug Pederson - Y

    Matt LeFleur - Y

    Shane Steichen - Y

    Brian Dabol - N

    Kevin Stefanski - Y

    Mike McCarthy - Y

Mike McDaniel - Y (never called plays before getting the Miami)

    Kevin O'Connell - Y

    Nick Sirriani - N

What is that? 20%? Seems like 80% of offensive HC's calling plays does equate to that being the norm. Please do some homework next time so you don’t get laughed at.

Are you stupid or just can't read? Re-read my post. See where I said OFFENSIVE head coaches? Now remind me, what is Todd Bowles background?

I mean that's pretty average top 20 numbers for anyone besides the likes of Ridder, Zach Wilson, etc. Otherwise known as busts. CJ had better numbers than that year 1

You think 4000 yards and a 3:1 TD to INT ratio is an average top 20 qb? Excuse me?

  10. There's no way I let him go assuming Canales is on board with keeping him, and I think he is. I'm sorry but you signed a 2 year contract and will be getting 3M to coach here next season, you're fine. Best thing for the team as well to get the two 3rd round comp picks next year as well.

  11. either way I extend/restructure Moton and keep him here and happy. Dude has been nothing but solid for us for years of chaos and his play this year hasn't really shown any decline. Don't let good tackles go. I probably switch BC and Icky but trust the new coaching staff on whatever they decide to do there and wouldnt hate if they left Icky at LT as him developing into an actual good LT would be massive for us. I'd also overspend a bit for a decent FA swing tackle.

The staff Canales hires is going to make or break his tenure. That's true for all head coaches and especially first time head coaches, but it's even more true for Canales in a very rough Panthers organization that has had dissension, division, backstabbing, bad vibes, just overall a dumpster fire caused by a bad owner. Canales will need to surround himself with people he trusts and knows. He will need resilient personalities that tell him the truth. And he will need to be insulated from David Tepper's meddling.

I don't love the fact they are keeping Evero without interviewing any candidates Canales might want to hire. He needs to be responsible for his whole staff, not just the offense. He is head coach of the entire team. I have this bad feeling that if Evero is retained, and the offense continues to struggle, it's just going to be a repeat of the 2023 season.

How do we know Canales didn’t come in and say that dude held me to 30 points over 2 games, do whatever to keep him here as DC?

I think Seattle might be patient and wait on things to unfold in the playoffs. The Ravens D Coordinator is a big one that seems like he would top Evero.

Yeah there’s no rush for them. Commanders are getting Ben Johnson, they have their pick at any DC they like
