  1. Smitty lost credibility to me when he started kissing Tepper’s ass (and ring) to curry favor with the organization and exchanged his integrity in the process… from co-signing Rhule until he was gone, to hyping up guys like Shi and Minho when the organization wanted him to. I really dgaf what Smitty’s evaluations are anymore. Maybe if he spent less time kissing ass and rearranging married women’s IUDs, his evaluations would be more meaningful.
  2. Damn. I haven’t seen DC in one video yet bc of it.
  3. I mind. Because it’s one thing to suck and suck with humility and a willingness to learn. It’s another to suck and think you have it all figured out while you act like an asshole. From throwing drinks on fans, to the hires, to the fires, to the “basement dwellers” comment about his own fanbase for calling him out on his idiocy. His face pisses me off. His voice pisses me off. But I agree with you Montsta… I’ve never been more apathetic or indifferent when it comes to our team for the reasons you mentioned. I accepted long ago we were an incarnation of the Browns. Hope it turns around and we find our footing under this regime… But Tepper just irks me…
  4. Does anyone else immediately stop watching the draft videos when Tepper pops on the screen to talk to the draft pick? I just get repulsed now at the sight of him and the sound of his voice.
  5. I figured that as well, but just for shits and giggles. I know the weight is scaring teams off, but… I hope we sign him. Could be a fun prospect.
  6. Watched him a lot more the season before last. He is a fuging playmaker. Love this pick and the potential. And he’s overcome a lot of adversity. Would really love to see him complete the WR room with Tet, XL, Coker, Thielen.
  7. Damn, I forgot all about Brooks. And now we took Ettiene today after signing what’s his face from Dallas. I guess they’re really banking on Brooks not coming back next year, or ever.
  8. You know my favorite safety since Minter? Mike effin Mitchell. Marlon McCree was also underrated for his short time here…. Also really liked Chris Harris. And they did similar things, although I think Mitchell was the most complete. Mitchell set the tone with his physicality and that matters. We haven’t had anyone capable of that since he left. Between Moehrig and now Ransom, I am excited to see what our safety corps looks like.
  9. Like this pick…. Haven’t had a planet at NT since Kemoeatu. Now if Morgan wants to make me really cream my pants, trade back in to the draft and take his teammate Desmond Watson.
  10. I liked what I saw of him in college, but do we need to be 3 deep at HB?
  11. I actually have a feeling Shiloh is gonna be really solid. He has a knack for making plays and is pretty physical. it is still crazy to me that all of Prime’s boys all ended up with average athleticism lol. But Shiloh is a dog.
  12. But the thing is, I think back to the RG3/Cousins deal. Cousins may have started out or been regarded as a backup and very quiet, humble, milquetoast kind of guy - but if they can play, the distraction is gonna be there regardless. Once Cousins got the chance to play, it became a distraction and a media circus of sorts. i may be in the minority, but Shadeur can play. There is elements of his game that remind me of Brady. Not saying he will be Brady, but I definitely think he’s a starter in the NFL.
  13. Funny enough, I thought to myself when we didn’t take Walker that he was gonna end up in the division and whoop our ass for the next decade… went upstairs to put my kids to bed and came back down to find ATL took him. Never fails.
  14. Can’t say I followed enough to make a definitive decision on who I wanted myself. First time ever since I started watching football as a kid… that being said, the defense needs help and bad. I was coming around to Walker just off what I read and his pedigree coming from Georgia, and athleticism. I know he’s considered a tweener, but I saw Micah Parsons say he reminds him a lot of himself. i had looked into Tet when someone mentioned him during the season and was unimpressed from what I saw. And best case scenario, let’s say all of XL, Coker, and Tet develop and become really good to great. Now what? Somebody has to get paid and you aren’t keeping all three when that time comes. But, his hands and route running seem to be natural gifts, so there’s that. And you can’t teach 6’4”… for as good as Coker is, and as valuable as he proved to be in the redzone, he still isn’t 6’4”. So, not a fan of the pick necessarily, but gonna hope for the best as I always do.
  15. Never saw a pic of the marching band cum dumpster. I figured she had to be bad, though.
  16. Idk, Dan’s approach is starting to feel like a lot of the GMs of top-tier franchises - think like the Bills trading for Stefon Diggs. Yeah, he was good, but was he worth what they gave up at the time? And when they felt the returns weren’t worth the investment anymore, they cut ties and move on. The Pats, Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, they all do it all the time. They swing big and sometimes they hit, sometimes they miss, but the train doesn’t stop - I think the key is, ultimately FA/trades are supposed to supplement your roster in a very targeted way, while the draft is building the core of who you are as a team. As long as we draft and develop accordingly, you can afford these big gambles in trades and FA. It’s what all the best teams do. I’m hoping that’s what we have now with Morgan.
  17. Nah, make an offer. I feel like it would make some poo right on a cosmic level.
  18. Tommy is a fuging DAWG. When healthy, he makes fuging plays. And not just any plays, he will beat the man in front of him, more often than not. He takes pride in his play. How many fuging TDs does he have off of handoffs? I feel like it’s been 2 or 3, maybe more…. It’s because he’s a fuging playmaker and has been stuck in dysfunctional ass offenses from the day he was drafted. He makes plays, he just needs stability around him to really shine… this isn’t the same as Ian. Everyone was waiting for Ian to show what Tremble already has based off his measurables and perceived ability bc of them. Tremble has already shown the ability to make plays when everything around him is poo. He needs the rest of the offense and coaching to shore up around him so he can take the next step. Glad he’s coming back.
  19. Yes. I was actually excited about Ickey when we drafted him and I usually hate picking OLs in the first. He had all the tools and build of a cornerstone, franchise LT. I thought it was as close to a surefire hit as we could’ve made under the Fitterer years. In hindsight, I think we honestly could’ve plugged a random UDFA at LT or had a revolving door there in the same amount of time since Ickey been here and had equal to better results.
  20. So, I think what we’ve learned in this stretch since BY has been back in the lineup is BY isn’t as bad as he looked, but he still isn’t the future, and Canales is a really good coach who can get the most out of any QB. Today, the defense and OL have been a huge problem, but I think we’re still in this game without Bryce’s turnovers. He’s not as horrible as he looked last year and the first two games this year, but he is still only a backup-level QB in the pros. The fumbles are one thing, but that can of corn he just threw on top of that? We’ve seen enough.
  21. And then there's that... so, like I said, let's see if he can sustain it and build on it. He really did look good today, but I agree - the reason I didn't want him since college is because I didn't feel he had the tools to excel in the NFL either... but, we'll see.
