  1. To be clear, I'm not saying Baker is the problem. But I expected his play to elevate us above a lot of our problems and it hasn't really moved the needle either way. Again, don't get me wrong, he is light-years ahead of Darnold, but I'm not seeing the "jump" I expected, all while acknowledging that this whole trainwreck that Rhule is orchestrating is awfully hard for anyone to elevate above.
  2. I want to agree, Phil, but even for the most patient person, I just don't see how Tepper didn't can Rhule after last season. This is beyond overkill now. These 2 weeks have been completely expected and yet simultaneously unbearable. I think he's going to be here way past his expiration and the season will already be lost... I just can't shake the fact Tepper brought him back in the first place, and every week we see more evidence of Rhule not having any idea what he's doing, and he comes back the next week and does the same thing or worse. It is the most hopeless I have ever felt as a fan.
  3. I agree, the scheme is the biggest problem. I kept alluding to how easy the Giants were getting their scrubs open with their use of tight, doubles, and stack formations along with route combinations like drags overlapping each other or in tandem with flats. We just ran fuging spread formations and their nobodies clamped our receivers up.
  4. I don't dispute it is incredibly hard to evaluate any of these guys under this staff. Baker has had moments. But the overthrow to Shi on the broken play was probably the most egregious. I saw a lot of people blame Shi, but he had no shot at it. And that drive in the 4th where he threw 3 straight times, including two horrible decisions were also really bad. When guys get over the top, we have to hit them, and we don't. But I also won't dispute, the OL playing like a sieve didn't help his cause at all. It's just that even with finally getting the run game going, our offense still looked atrocious for most of the game.
  5. I think I marginally care, because for some reason I still watch. But, I know I really don't. Anyone can look in the threads throughout the week leading up to the game, and I called the Giants winning. I knew they were gonna win. Didnt waver in the game thread either, so i wasnt moved when it played out the way it did... Just like last week. I never believed we were going to win. And since last season, I go into every game feeling we're going to lose unless they surprise me, but I know they won't - because Rhule is the coach. Until that changes, we are going to keep losing.
  6. Yeah Tepper is an idiot and a fuging parasite on this organization... but, that considered, if he had hired a coach worth a poo, he could still be an idiot and we would still be winning. Rhule is the biggest problem right now because that is driving the outcomes on Sundays.
  7. Coaching is first and foremost the biggest problem. Every player on this roster is going to look far worse than they are under this staff, but Baker ain't it. That defense sucked ass and they were playing scrubs on DJ all day. One of the biggest traits of franchise QBs is being able to hit the easy throws when they're there. Baker is missing way too many of those and then attempting throws he shouldn't. And this OL is fuging horrible. It looks comparable, if not worse than last season's. Ickey is a rookie and needs to develop, but his presence is completely inconsequential for a guy with such incredible physical tools and ability. Corbett has played like poo. We're still starting a garbage can over a proven starting center who came from one of the best lines in the league. And Moton has probably never looked worse. The more I see, the less I like of this whole team... but again, I know we look so much worse because of the coaching... and as long as Rhule remains in place, we will continue to flail and fail in every possible aspect. Our schemes, both offense and defense, put us at a disadvantage from the opening kickoff. Rhule doesn't know how to win, so how could he possibly teach 53 grown men how to do so? Simple. He can't. And honestly, we are all wasting our time even paying attention to this traveling trainwreck as long as he is in place. We all know whats gonna happen, and we still watch.
  8. None. We are literally 1-25 now under Rhule when our opponent scores 17.
  9. Mightve been planned, but theyre almost in the same spot after 1 play.
  10. Lol that is how a Matt Rhule team loses. That's a fuging vet doing that.
  11. It is horribly schemed. That's clear. Liek I mentioned earlier, the Giants are running compressed sets, tights, doubles, stacks, etc and using drags and such to rub the defenders off. We have a Top 10 receiver in the league getting clamped up by rookie nobodies and 30+ year old fringe camp bodies.
  12. But thats the beauty. It's my opinion, I don't need evidence for that.

  14. And I campaigned for Gano before we signed him. Appreciated him. But he would've missed that for us.
