Hello delusion my old friend.

Bienemy deserves his due, no doubt. He was one of my favorites to hire as HC back when we hired Fhule, but man, Howell was considered possibly the best QB in the country going into his last season at UNC. He had the ability and talent, but likely was a victim of underperforming his last season at UNC.

But seriously, I was thinking a lot about us and the parallels to Hackett and Denver last season. I would not be surprised if he doesn't make it through the season.

It's true, Reich was a horrible hire. The only way we can salvage anything from this last offseason is to fire him and hire Evero as the HC. But, at this point, I'm convinced any decision made with Tepper at the helm will be the wrong one. We are cursed.

We still picked in the Top 10, possibly have a franchise QB already on the roster, still have DJ and next year's first. I know when we got to the 3rd round, I and several other posters were saying Howell or bust... looks like Fitt and Co. chose bust. So many mistakes could've been avoided and assets preserved. I was vocal about my support for Fitt in the past, hence my avi. And I gave him a pass for a lot of previous mistakes under Rhule because we didn't know what decisions were Fitts and what decisions were Rhule's, but I've seen enough. Fitt is NOT a good GM and the evidence is mounting higher and higher with each passing game.

Still latching onto poo like this when Bryce gave them a fumble six that took the lead and they never looked back. But Reich didn't take responsibility for that, so it doesn't fit our narrative. E: Reich is ass though lol.

Good thing he is a maestro and his dad is a sports psychologist... he's gonna need it while they're counting their money when he's retired in 2 years after washing out.

Fair and reasoned, non-emotional take... but the reason he is trending bust is for the bolded part... he is making a difference, and it results in losing. You mentioned today and the Saints game, but he also lost the Falcons game with two costly picks. You draft a guy #1 overall because he makes winning plays, and Bryce does the opposite.

If only our play calling and Bryce's target distribution and throw distance was as diverse and varied as my Bryce-Thread-Reactions. We might would have won a game out of the first four.

Are you going to acknowledge the Bridgewater/completion pct parallel and how meaningless it is or just keep throwing out red herrings? He is not capable of winning games with his arm. He is hyper-dependent on the talent around him to make plays for him because he can't do it himself, hence why he won't throw it downfield. Thats a game manager. That's not a franchise QB.

Someone literally just said if he was having the game he was having today for us, we would be losing our poo. That right there is why we wouldn't be... because he can make plays to atone for the mistakes. Bryce is only capable of the gamechanging mistakes - not the game-winning plays.

Ahh, yes, we have reached the point of debate where we use our opponent's insults against them because we lack the intelligence or creativity to come up with our own. I remember grade school fondly. Enjoy it, young man!

I did. I wanted Cam as soon as the college season was over. But yes, we were depressed from Luck deciding to stay in school and Cam just happened to blow up at the same time - but we had the 1st pick and hope. We have neither this season.

I think it's becoming more and more crystallized that the "smooth brain contingent" are those that keep making excuses for this sorry ass organization. They traded the farm for a guy they don't trust to throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage. No one is asking him to drop back and sling it 20 yards every play - the problem is that he can't throw it 20 yards AT ALL.

I wish. In 2010 we knew we had the #1 pick on the other side of that misery and Cam along with it. Now? Lol. We're stuck with fuging Weeman at QB for the next 3 years lol.
