Still absolutely amazing that Rhule chose to start and play Elflein over him. Just dumbfounded... He's doing what pretty much everyone here knew he would, and yet, Rhule had to show everyone how much smarter he was than us. Anyway,don't hold his dumbassery against us, Boze. You the man, baby! Steve Smith also got ejected once for touching a ref during a game, and it wasn't even a 100th of what Jeudy does here. Steve calmly walked over to the refs after already engaging him in conversation as he walked over to him, iirc. He casually grabbed his arm to get his attention, and the ref turned towards him and threw his flag and ejected him. Can't remember the opponent or year, but I'm sure it's on YouTube, and I remember a ton of bullshit happening before that too in that game... Also, the NFL came out after the fact on DJ's penalty and admitted it shouldn't have been a penalty. And then we have the entire Cam Era where they allowed entire teams, week after week, to tee off on Cam in an attempt to injure him with blatant late hits and heads hots, and barely a fraction of them were ever called. Again, our franchise is wither cursed or the league just legitimately hates us and enjoys shifting us. It's that simple. We will never get the benefit of good or fair officiating. I accepted that long ago.

He could be a legit 2 in a legit NFL passing offense under a legit NFL OC with a solid NFL QB, which we don't currently have. In the meantime, give him as many touches as possible however he can get them. He is a beast and so fun to watch. McAdoodoo really does hamstring the entire offense with his scheme and play designs, outside of the run game... DJ didn't just suddenly become trash... TMJ and Shenault could be eating so much more, too... hell, we barely run any play designed to go 5 yards beyond the LOS. It sucks, but it's the only way we can win with McAdoodoo already in place for the time being.

I love Wilks, and would love for him to get the job, so long as he hired a much better OC. But it's why I always preferred an offensive coach because the scheme will always be in place with one of them... I feel the defensive side is a lot easier to run across multiple coaches. Whereas, you get a good OC and they leave, you're most likely installing a whole new offense and that sucks.

Now is a good time for Burns to hit Cross with the inside spin.

You know what I would really love to see though, just to get the ball in his hands more? Lining up Shenault in the back field and handing it to him. Maybe in a split formation? You can create a lot of the same concepts we're trying to do with the bubbles and orbits and motions with him already back there and create more indecision in the defense because the threat to handoff to him and motion the other back out could then become a threat.

Well, issue is, just like with Mayfield, and guys like DJ and TMJ now, it honestly didn't matter... they were not gonna do what they are doing for other teams here under McAdoodoo. Shanahan makes JAGs into pro bowlers, so it was a given CMC was gonna go crazy with them. It just wasn't gonna happen here and it was best to get value for him as a RB with an injury history on an expensive contract.

It looks like there was visible space between the ground and the ball even when he tucked it between his legs initially when he first rolled. And regardless, I think the argument could be made bc the ball wasn't moving even then, that he had control the whole time.
