    A lot of QBs have said it's all about confidence. You cannot be successful without it. That's what the damaged goods thing is on QBs. They lose confidence.

    It indicates a coaching problem. Team looked lifeless from the first snap. I can't overstate how bad that is in game 1 for a new coach. Typically there's some fire to start.

    I don't know why anyone is disappointed in the defense. They weren't nearly as good as some people seemed to think last year. And resources were heavily diverted from the unit to make the offense better. The real outrage is that the offense isn't any better because they are bottlenecked by awful QB play.

    Weak roster aside, that has got to be the most dead a team has ever looked with a new head coach. That's a very bad start for Canales on the vibe side of things. I'd say he's in danger of losing the locker room, but you can't lose what you never had.

    The David Carr thing is a myth. He just stunk. He didn't get Carr'd anymore than Sam Darnold got Darnolded. They just stink. That's it.

    The other team would probably rest their starters like a preseason game if they got up by 50. But they are absolutely capable of it.

    We don't have the veteran leadership for it to work. Those early 2010's Seattle teams were loaded with those types.

    I'll go with a 4 because as low as the bar was for me, they somehow got under it. I expected the Panthers to look like they belonged for a least a split second of the game yesterday.

    If you've ever been a part of any team... Not just sports, but literally anything. If the most important person on that team is completely incapable, it saps the entire team. People have to believe they can succeed. And if Bryce is playing QB, I don't think anyone believes that. It's that simple.

    Honestly yes. He will need to go to another team and have success at DC before he gets a look. Nobody is hiring the DC from the worst team in the league. Especially when they can't stop anything. Not his fault there's no talent, but that's the reality.
